Programs Pyramid offers day treatment, meeting 5-6 hours per day, an intensive outpatient program (IOP), meeting 3-4 hours per day, 3 days per week, and traditional outpatient treatment for both substance use and primary mental health treatment, meeting about 4 hours per week. Traditional outpatient and IOP are also available for adolescents ages 12-17. Clients and their loved ones participate in family or couples counseling aimed at increasing understanding and communication. Pyramid also offers educational presentations and workshops to help the community learn more about addiction and mental health. Collaborating with patients, psychiatrists prescribe and manage medications for adults with co-occurring mental health conditions. Pyramid also offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults only to help clients with opiate and alcohol cravings, implementing Suboxone and Vivitrol.
