From my pact team to mental health care and the nurses in my pact team-just condescending/rude especially when needing things in messaging. In person my first visit with my pcp/pact team the female dr was condescending and smug and that was over 4yrs ago. I should’ve dropped her then. No compassion for life threatening ailments she diagnosed me with. Just a nasty attitude her and all her nurses. “We are all gonna die of something.” I no longer want to see anyone there. Got a new psych in November-I also noticed at that time with his politics we would never align and he’d never have my best interest at the forefront based off that alone plus he immediately lied in my chart stating that I “wanted to change my meds for a long time with my previous dr but wasn’t allowed” is what he alluded to. I called him out in messaging and he immediately gave a half apology and transferred my care the very next day-so that proved I was right all along. He just tossed me to a female person of color because “we may understand each other better.” I responded no and declined MH care altogether at this VA clinic. I got the best care with my doctor before him who was at the Gainesville office. Everyone I’ve ever encountered in MH at Gainesville VA was superb. As a matter of fact a couple of days after this debacle I received a post card from the Gainesville VA mh clinic with words of encouragement for my MH journey. I felt seen. Since my previous Dr left, my mental health has declined and I refused to see the new graduate doctor since he came in lying in my records so effortlessly-I haven’t had mental health meds here lately. Can’t trust no one to just do their jobs without biases. I thought I hated Atl VA but nope it’s this one. These ppl should not be working with my population. By population I do mean veterans period.

The VA will also disrupt Community Care appointments. Mid procedure the provider had to stop and say sorry we have to submit another request to finish the appointment that your already in . A simple 45 minute service turns into another 6-12 weeks of waiting around in vain to finish an appointment I was already in . This is deliberate from the VA the objective is to disrupt healthcare because this clinic is subpar & repeatedly dehumanizes there patients.

Tallahassee VA clinic is the BEST. Everytime I have been there, they have been most professional and helpful.I wish I could give them a 10 Star Review but they only allow for a 5 Star Review on Google. Thanks for EXCELLENT service to us Veterans!!!

This is the worst VA clinic ever. My doctor discriminates and refuse to give me proper medicine and treatment and I wonder is it because I am black. Three months and no male harmones. I went to see the white guy to do my claim. After a disagreement he told me to go somewhere else to get help. I do feel like I'm being discriminated against. Everything I do a claim I have evidence I have a complete copy of my military medical records so does my civilian doctor. Dr. Ricardo Bailey. Including two nexus letters and a doctors notes. And guess what VA denied me anyway...

I've been to various VA's across America over the decades. You do not communicate well at all with your patients. Reading the reviews below mine with no reply of any kind means we must contact someone that overseas your funding and operations.

The VA pharmacy program appears to have vastly improved since I began using them in 2023. I hope I am not speaking too soon, but the pharmacy has been sending texts when my meds are due for refill. All I have to do is type “Y” if I want them refilled. This is wonderful and, thus far, has worked well. As Veterans and family members of Veterans we are quick to complain loud and long about all the shortcomings of the VA system (which are many) but we also need to be giving credit where credit it due. Thank you for a program that is not complicated and actually is working!!
