Silver Linings - Pennsylvania

I am the mother of a recovering addict. I started attending family support group meetings at Silver Linings when my son relapsed. The meetings have been of great guidance for focusing on myself. Being able to share my experiences and receive feedback from others in the group helps my own mental health wellness. Ultimately, by taking care of yourself, it's possible to elicit change in all those for whom you care so deeply.

Silver Linings Treatment Center is a state of the art family owned and operated business. The owners Don and Carly Colamesta, both in long term recovery, are dedicated to helping the community who are struggling with mental health and substance abuse disorders.. Thank you for offering a Family Support Group because everyone needs recovery not just the addict. It lets us parents and other loved ones know that we are not alone, there is hope and we have a safe non-judgmental place to share and learn. The staff is amazing...all are so welcoming and friendly...always ready to accommodate everyone's needs. It's rare that people care this much and don't give up on themselves and others because this can easily happen when addiction hits your life. Thank you Silver Linings

I can’t say enough good things about this program. The level of care here truly stands out—both the group and individual therapy sessions are thoughtful, engaging, and genuinely supportive. The staff creates a safe, welcoming environment where you feel heard, respected, and encouraged to grow at your own pace. What really makes this place special is the balance between structure and compassion. The groups help build connection and accountability, while individual sessions allow for deeper, more personalized work. They also offer marriage, couples, and family sessions, which is huge—healing doesn’t happen in isolation, and they really understand that here. Whether you’re working through recovery, mental health challenges, or relationship struggles, this program meets you where you are and helps you move forward with clarity and confidence. It’s not just treatment—it’s a place where real change happens.

Silver linings has a Monday night family group in my hometown. Many people struggle with a family member or friend in recovery currently or in the past. Living with that can be difficult and it is so good to know that you can be in a room with people who understand your Struggles and thoughts. People who support you and do not judge. Sharing our experiences together, helps you to move forward and remind you to take care of yourself. Maryann, the leader of this group has such wisdom and understanding and provides guidance to help everyone through difficult experiences. She is blessed with the family who has done so much in the recovery world.!!! I am grateful for all of their support

I have the pleasure of attending family support group meetings on monday evenings with Maryanne. I’ve met wonderful individuals and had impactful discussions which have helped and continue to help me navigate issues with a loved one. I continue to learn and search within myself healthy ways to move forward in supporting my loved one as well as allowing myself to live my best life moving forward. I’m grateful every day for Silver linings support group.

Maryann has been so caring and welcoming since my wife and I showed up in November of 2025. There has never been any judgement by her or any other people seeking support, just a lot of love ❤️ We will continue attending as the support group is unbelievably helpful with our situation.
