I’ve used their services before but most recently when I tried going back for therapy. I went and got told to wait, I met with 2 people and my intake was 3 hours. It was only after I came back 4 days after not getting a call back they promised that they bothered to tell me there would be a waitlist. I’m grateful people are able to get help here but I’ve had too many instances where something wasn’t communicated properly through this building and I was left waiting and wondering if I’d get a response. I would not recommend this to a loved one unless they don’t wanna drive to Knox. The staff care more than most facilities and are educated but the system is flawed.
It's my safe place the staff greets me when I arrive each day
My experience was wonderful. The girl who did my intake paperwork was an angel. Her name was Jennifer. She explained everything so that it was easy to understand and made me feel so peaceful. Walking through the door to get help was so hard, but she made it easy. She reminded me that no matter where I am in life that I am still wanted and loved . Sobriety isn’t easy, but she is 100 percent the reason I am alive. Sometimes all you need is one person to remind you how loved and wanted you are and she is as that person for me. That day could have easy ended differently, but she changed something in me. Thankful for Ridgeview. The world needs more people like her.
Minus two stars cause they put me in the same room as my abuser for 4 hours a day until he tried fighting the guys at AGAPE When I would complain about it Cathy would tell me that we were just drunk and didn't know better but Sharron Straton won't let me back in transitional housing even though I've had my ducks in a row for a year and a half I would have moved to a.apartment of my own but the staff at the group home put a important letter for me in my old case managers box after she quit all I had to do was get fingerprinted and I only had a few days to do it so now I'm denied housing living in the group home is more punishable from the other residents by them always brown nosing me and even though I put my name on my drinks the residents still steal them and I haven't had a 12 pack of sodas to myself for over a year cause they are impulsive and smoke and drink like their at a frathouse all I want is to pay less for rent cause I need new underwear and shirts
I had a wonderful experience at Ridgeview. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. Summer at the front desk made the check-in process easy and comfortable — she’s always friendly, patient, and professional. Jennifer, who handled my intake, was kind, understanding, and really took the time to listen to me and explain everything clearly. It’s not always easy reaching out for help, but the staff here truly make you feel supported and respected. I’m so grateful for the compassion and professionalism they showed me. Ridgeview is an excellent facility, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking quality mental health care.
Took a family member here today didn't do anything to help said they was going to have someone talk to them never happened so now I know why so many ppl commit suicide know one wants to help use to not be that way so when ppl cry for help they get turned away
I went in for issues with my PTSD & was told "we do not do any testing before we prescribe medication." They're just guessing about your mental health and running a pill mill. Stay away from any "Medical Professional" who talks about their job like it's mysticism. It's SCIENCE not magic!
very rude to anyone with alt lifestyles
