Amazing VA clinic, very fast and reliable service. This VA actually cares about you. Wonderful staff and service. Probably saved my life when I was going through “SI” my phycologist at the time would take me into hiss office and just drop everything for me. Sometimes that’s all it takes someone to listen to you for 15 mins. there’re doing to be there for you but don’t expect them to call an ambulance. They will definitely sit and talk with you and make sure you’re good! 🤝😇

The people here are so lazy they can't even answer the phone. Good luck, you'll be on hold for at least 30 minutes.

Saturday March 14 I had to go to the emergency room, I ripped the inner bicep tendon off the bone, which requires surgery. New to the VA system I spent Monday calling when they finally placed me through to the Tomball VA who told me they were full and not accepting patients. I then had to call the Conroe VA which informed me that Tomball would need to put me into “community care” and should have suggested this when I spoke with them. I then tried to call the Tomball VA back three times and after being on hold they just hung up on me. So I drove to Tomball VA where I spoke with Melodie who stated she would put the forms in “before she left”, it is now Friday and I called community care who had no forms on me at all. Went back to Tomball spoke with Melodie again who brought out another lady who then stated she put the forms in to their director, which should have happened the previous Monday. The other lady let me know that after the director sees it and approves community care then has 14 days. And she was sorry, they have zero reguard for former service members and allow these “forms” to sit on desks until there’s a complaint. I again being new to the system don’t know where to go from here, I’m in pain and this affects my job, no one will help, I am going to head to the main VA in Houston Monday and not only try to be seen but also talk to an advocate about tomball, and anyone else I can weather it be my congressman, lawyer, news, whoever. If there was a way to rate them negative stars I would, I understand that my pain or needs for surgery don’t concern them at all, however being in the medical field you would think they would have more regard. It’s very unfortunate and I hope to have a solution soon. I also have my call logs and narrative of this situation as I’ve heard bad things about Tomball VA clinic.

My husband and our child died from complications arising from exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam. Every Veteran, especially combat veterans have paid with their service to our country. Your health benefits are not free you have paid in advance with your blood, sweat and tears. I sincerely thank you for your service.

Do not expect to receive any mental help here. Absolutely no help. The VA is getting worse & worse. Completely depressing.

Update 1/29/26@2:14pm : Good Lord! Good Luck trying to reach a staff member by phone. Ive been on hold for nearly an hour just to schedule an appt as a transfer patient. 🙃 Absolutely BS, that yhe budgeting and funding is not increased for the freaking staff. Where's the Support? Where's the operators? Just a veteran and Medical SW trying to understand why there's a lack of freaking care below the standard here. ..... I had an 11-1145am TVC appt for a claim. I arrived at 1140am, still within the appt window. Been waiting for the TVC lady for an hour! None of the front desk personnel can get into contact with her. They've knocked on her door, sent a msg and called her extension but to no avail. The TVC staff needs improvement. Especially if Veterans are traveling for more than an hrs for an appt. Way to go on making Veterans feel heard, seen or valued.
