I’ve been living with mental health challenges for almost 30 years. In that time, I’ve seen more psychiatrists and therapists than I can count—but none have even come close to the level of care, compassion, and support I’ve found at Triangle Wellness & Recovery. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by Noelle at the front desk—often the first smiling face you’ll see. She’s friendly, helpful, and always on top of everything. She makes every visit feel welcoming and easy. Dr. Koenig (or “Dr. K”) is an exceptional psychiatrist. She truly cares about her patients and takes time to listen with empathy and zero judgment. Her innovative, whole-person approach—including therapies like Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy—has been nothing short of transformative. She makes you feel heard, understood, and supported at every step. My therapist, Rachel, has also been an incredible force in my healing. Every session, whether in person or via telehealth, she greets me like a long-lost friend, genuinely excited to catch up and help me navigate life’s challenges. Her compassion, energy, and clinical skills create a safe, welcoming space for growth and healing. What makes this place even more special is how Dr. K and Rachel work together as a true team. They take time out of their busy schedules to collaborate on my care, ensuring I’m receiving thoughtful, coordinated support designed specifically for me. Their goal isn’t just symptom relief—they’re focused on helping me grow into a healthier, happier person with the tools I need to thrive. When I first started here, I was emotionally numb and felt like I had completely lost my spark. But with their care and guidance, I’ve started to rediscover the joy that was missing in my life… and I’ve gotten my spark back. Triangle Wellness & Recovery has been life-changing for me. I was referred to Triangle Wellness and Recovery by a friend who directly witnessed my struggle with severe depression. I enrolled in the IOP program hoping to receive the support I desperately needed. Before starting the IOP I had an assessment with a therapist and Dr Koenig. I received a warm welcome from everyone starting with Noelle who welcome each patient with warmth and care. The IOP is run by every therapist working at the clinic. It felt extremely safe to open up and be vulnerable. Over seven weeks, I learned so much about myself and learned to face my traumas. I felt extremely supported by everyone. We learned different modalities (CBT- DBT- art therapy and yoga) and learned to apply tools (grounding techniques and meditation) to cope with our traumas. Over seven weeks in group therapy, I feel like a changed person, full of hope. I am extremely grateful to Dr Koenig and every member of the staff. This place is a safe heaven where you can rest assured that you will be well taken care off.

I have been to many Psychiatrists and therapists in my life. I have to say this practice is by far the best one I have been to. Dr. K and Heather are fantastic at what they do. They truly care about me, and I feel it. I will be forever grateful for the guidance and help they have given me. I would not be as successful as I am today without them. (trans woman speaking here) I had my first appointment today with Lydia. I know it's a pretty limited experience so far, but I am so happy with the experience that I had to come here to leave my first ever healthcare review. As I told Lydia at the end of our video call, it was the best healthcare experience I've had in years, maybe ever. She didn't seem rushed at all, had clearly read all of my intake forms carefully (wow!), and really listened to get the whole picture of my current life experiences. I felt seen, heard, and cared for, which I never feel with other primary care providers. I'm so thankful to have found this clinic. Good healthcare is so hard to find in this broken, crumbling, and shameful society.

We are so glad that we have this fantastic resource right in our backyard! I am highly impressed with the quality and experience level of the staff, their truly tailored and creative programming and their warm and welcoming environment. Triangle Wellness is ideal for those wanting help recovering from both a substance use disorder and mental health issues like depression or anxiety. The best part is you can change your level of treatment from very intense to maintenance depending on your needs at any given time.

I was privileged to meet Dr. Koenig a little over 2 years ago at a critical time in my family's life.
