I visited Woodhaven, Ohio and I’m still trying to figure out if it’s a town or just a really long loading screen. The highlight of my trip was a stop sign… and honestly it had more personality than most of the streets. The scenery is mostly grass, more grass, and a bonus patch of slightly different grass. If excitement were measured in tumbleweeds, this place would still be underperforming. The nightlife? Incredible — if you count watching a porch light flicker while a raccoon judges your life choices. 🦝 On the bright side, it’s extremely peaceful. Mostly because absolutely nothing happens. Ever. If you’re looking for action, fun, or literally any sign of chaos… you might want to keep driving. 🚗💨 Would I come back? Sure… if I accidentally missed my exit again.

I’ve been through a lot in my recovery journey, and I’ve worked with many peer support folks along the way. But Addi? She’s in a league of her own. From the very first time we connected, it was clear she doesn’t just do this job—she lives it. She goes above and beyond in ways I’ve never seen anyone else do, treating every single person she supports like they’re the most important one in her world that day. What sets Addi apart is her genuine passion. She loves her work so much it feels like she owns the company herself. There’s zero pretense here—not a fake bone in her body. Every word she says, every bit of encouragement she offers, every time she checks in “just because,” comes straight from the heart. She’s sincere, compassionate, and truly invested in seeing you thrive, not just survive. Addi is lovable in the best way: warm, kind, funny when you need a laugh, and steady when things feel shaky. She listens without judgment, shares her own experiences only when it helps, and somehow always knows exactly what to say (or not say) to make you feel seen and valued. She’s the kind of person who makes you believe recovery isn’t just possible—it’s brighter and more hopeful because people like her exist. If you’re lucky enough to have Addi as your peer support lady, hold onto that connection. She’s rare, she’s real, and she’s making a real difference every single day. This place is pretty horrible. I survived 70 days here. I have legitimate trauma from going here. You have no ability to go outside until you get to residential where they take you on a walk a month. They put 8 people in one room. The "Smoke room" is literally a closet and I would bet it's not up to code. The food had hair in it idk how many times, wouldn't eat the pasta salad slop always black hairs in it. That nice auditorium picture on the site? Yeah you don't go in there.. I would not be surprised if this place gets hit with medicaid fraud. They crush up your medications upon distributing it which is 100% not the proper way They refuse to give you access to outside medical sources. There is no GYM. Blatant false advertising. I could go on and on. The "owners" of this place should be ashamed of themselves. Go to the CSU across the street. Atleast they treat you with dignity. If you want PTSD come here.

This place sucks if you on probation planning on leaving after detox don’t do it… they got me arrested refusing to do they PHP program which is 45-75 days of hunger and nightmare

This place is a freaking DISASTER!!!! NEVER have I seen a rehab so dis organized!! Staff plays favorites and rules change CONSTANTLY! Today they screwed me out of my ride to sober living because the counselor that transferred to another floor (went through 4 different counselors in a month because no one wants to work in the EXTREMELY CHAOTIC environment!!!) and no on made contact with my insurance even though they knew I was supposed to be leaving. Jeff thanks so much. You wanted me to trust you. Well screw you!!! Screw this freaking horrible place!! I wouldn't recommend it. The one thing that kept me is they do give out free tobacco and tubes and the smoke room is inside on the 8th floor. Plus it's freezing outside and I have no where else to go. No one to pick me up. And I'm too far from home. Oh they'll come get you. And for that I'm grateful. But it's been one BS thing after another here at Woodhaven. Not to mention the staff is two faced and in a popularity contest. Not recommending this place to anyone unless you're at the most desperate situation of your life. Go to Legends in Cleveland instead.
