I am very satisfied with my experience with Sophros Recovery. From the therapist to the group meetings. I got more out of this than first expected. They truly care about you and your sobriety.

If you are serious about making a change I would highly recommend Sophros for outpatient recovery/therapy. They give you great tools and guidance in your recovery journey. You have to want to get better and change your life. If you're showing up to BS your way through it, it won't work, and you're hurting others who are trying to change.

The team at Sophros is amazing, caring and compassionate! They truly saved my life and I learned so much about myself. I learned how to deal with grief, trauma, boundaries, self love, self care and much more. My therapists were incredibly supportive and never judged me. There's an emphasys on observing your own episodic behaviors, coping skils and your preffered coping styles and beliefs systems. Our cognitive behavior sessions helps us to value our individual authentic selves that may have been dorment or hurt for a long time. We learn to honor and validate that self through cognitive reconstruction, relaxation techniques, problem solving and mindfulness. I came here to deal with me disorder. Sophors taught me to understand that i need not identify myself by my addiction. My disorder, they taught me, is far more complex than that. We meet others at Sophros who are working on themselves not by changing our religions but instead ot is in the way you see ourselves and the role we play in very own lives. You get to keep the parts of yourself that you do like and to gain the awareness to successfuly create the life that you want for yourself. I can't even put into words what Sophrose means to me. It was truly the launching pad that I needed to begin my lifelong journey with sobriety the counselors l, they truly care. I can remember several times just being stopped in a hallway just to ask me if I was OK, how I was doing.....my one on ones were awesome !!! I love my counselor John. I was given the space to share and he listened to me intentively. Which I think is amazing. I just needed someone to hear me and he definitely did that. I mean from the very beginning when I walked in the door to the very time that it ended it was amazing.
