I was kicked out for having to go to the hospital, and their behavior was inexcusable. My treatment team wouldn’t even come talk to me to explain anything when I went to pick up my things. I had belongings that were left there, and the staff said I had everything, when I knew I didn’t. They left me with no where to go, and no resources and refuse to answer their email. I told them through email that I needed to pick up some mail that had been sent, but my mail was returned to the sender. The program in itself seemed pretty good for the time I was there, but watch your back. The therapist seemed really good when I was there and I wish I could leave a good review for at least that reason, but I can’t after how this situation was handled.

When it comes to helping someone in pain whose struggles arose from dysfunctions often not entirely of their own making, it’s a tricky business how to strike the ideal balance between compassion and challenge. You have done both, and done it well. Thank you, ViaMar.

I fully trust this company and they helped me get my life back when I was at my lowest. It’s hard to believe that my life could get so out of control so quickly. The therapists are very educated and helped me to use techniques and tools I’ve never thought of or heard of. Now I feel like for once in my life I can have lasting recovery. I know they would always welcome me back if I had some trouble again in the future.

The therapists are really passive-aggressive and nasty. I’m not a sensitive person, but I thought they could have tried to be more gentle when speaking to patients not to mention ESPECIALLY during therapy sessions…... If they had been more gentle and kind, I feel as though I would have received the help so desperately needed. Also, during my last few weeks there, I got harassed by a man who was making me feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable to the point where I just wanted to leave treatment. Not sure about others, but when I’m at treatment, I want to feel safe and cared for, especially emotionally. I understand that challenging eating disorders is important. However, it’s important to meet the patient halfway, where they are emotionally, and talking foolishly can disrupt their progression to heal. I just hope people can understand my prospective and proceed appropriately..

This place is horrible. The people are horrible and don’t provide adequate services at all.
