The Wellpoint Care Network has been at the forefront of the Trauma Informed Care movement, developing its own framework known as the Seven Essential Ingredients. This model guides all services by recognizing the prevalence and impact of trauma, adopting a perspective that asks what has happened rather than what is wrong, and prioritizing regulation, relationships, and connection to family, community, and culture. Individual, family, and group services use evidence-based and expressive methods that build coping skills, regulate emotions, and strengthen relationships. Extend Support Beyond the Clinic Beyond outpatient care, Wellpoint Care Network also partners with schools to provide on-site mental health services, allowing students to meet with therapists during the school day. Additional programs support youth transitioning from foster care with guidance in education, employment, housing, and health, focusing on stability and long-term growth
