This place has gone down hill , they laid off a lot of good people the budget cuts are ridiculous the staff loves to gaslight you into making you think your a problem for trying to address how you feel.. got forced out over the fact I was on the fence of leaving but they decided to pretty much push me out the door .. about out to the staff members jay, john , Christie and almost all of the night shift staff .. you guys are amazing but upper management sucks and they just end up sending everyone to there sister company on call in Waltham.. just a bunch of false promises they aren't willing to work with you if you have panic attacks they will make you feel like your a bad person and they can't accommodate you as your actively detoxing of course your going to have anxiety... This place seriously went down hill after the detox director Ryan daly was let go.. these people are clueless

Had a great experience met a ton of friends what a great hard working team, the nurses are unbelievably amazing, great staff all around, if you want this and you think you can put in the work, definitely the best place to be.

Two Years Later — With Love and Gratitude, My name is Samantha Garcia—though Sam was always just fine with me. It’s been almost two years since I last saw your faces, and while I only remember one name—Kristin—that’s beside the point. I’m writing this as if I’m speaking to each and every one of you individually, because that’s how you treated me: personally, patiently, and with kindness. I imagine you hear comeback stories often, so consider this another chapter in the book. I never fell again. After I left you, I didn’t slip back into old routines like everyone expected. I stood brave—just like you taught me. I came out here and gave it everything I had. And I did it. It started with small victories: waking up without feeling like a piece of shit, showing up to work on time with no excuses. Then life threw me a curveball: my mom was diagnosed with early-onset dementia. I won’t lie—it was tempting to pick up a bottle of whiskey and take it to the face. But I knew if I did, I wouldn’t get back up. Not like I had now. And she needed me. Still does. You taught me how to sit with silence, how to breathe through shame, how to speak gently to the parts of me I used to drown. You gave me back my name. And with a heart that now knows how to hold pain without absorbing it— I enrolled in an accelerated nursing program at the New England Institute of Technology. I turned pain into knowledge, anger into conviction, and grief into love. I left you with a plan—and now I return with the result. In 4 months, come February 2026—my two-year mark—I will be Samantha Garcia, RN. I wanted you to know that your work matters. That I carry your kindness with me. That every time I chose peace over chaos, I think of those that steadied me when I couldn’t stand. And Kristin—if you see this, you did your job. And you did it well. Evoke Wellness at Cohasset was a true lifeline at a time when all other treatment centers had failed. The staff are skilled and trained professionals whose dedication to recovery is evident from the structure and content of groups, to the individualized one-to-one case management. Having completed Evoke's 28-day CSS, I can attest to the life-saving services provided by this organization, as well as the staff's committment to meeting the various challenges of a diverse clientelle with grace and professionalism. Prior to entering Evoke's program, my experiences with treatment centers had been mostly negative due to a lack of professional and other resources that was clearly reflected in everything ranging from lackluster group discusssion to non-existant aftercare planning; Evoke, on the other hand, provided a refreshing contrast to other centers through its dedicated staff and responsiveness to individual needs. I highly recommend this center as a critical recovery resource in Massachusetts.

After detox and inpatient therapy at NERC I landed at Evoke in Waltham. They were perfect for preparing me for a sober life. I am now 11 months sober. They were understanding regarding my personal needs with a family and a business to run.
