I’ve been going to Marblehead Counseling Center for a couple years now, and i have had nothing but good experiences there. They understand the issues that i have and have helped to work around them and the work we’ve put in has been showing results and honestly given how bad things have been for years i feel relieved. I’ve recommended the place before, and i would do so again.

The staff is very warm and welcoming. My therapist always listens and offers suggestions that work for me. The office makes me feel calm and I am able to get out my issues.

the counselors at a town health fair were very nice . sounded like they could see me in person about my issue . I went on the website twice submitted request and no reply and then called . Person that answered their phone told me only way to get an appointment is online and may take two to six months to get appointment . Wished when I spoke to them at fair they were honest and said they were at fair but could not handle any new patients for a very long time , why come to a fair like you want to help when you can not . I see them hanging banner as you come it to town. again why when they can not see any one would you do this ?. also in a local paper . Spend the money and hire some more counselors or pay overtime .

My therapist used to only want to FaceTime and said that she couldn’t do in person and she would cut my hour sessions short to 30-45 mins to prepare for her next client even though I was being charged for the full hour. Place feels scammy cause of that and it’s been a couple years since that and then she left and I had to start again with someone new who was of no help.

One of their head doctors convinced me I had psychosis after a 15 minute evaluation. Every doctor I've met with since has said it was ridiculous and negligent. This pushed me back months (if not years) in my health journey. Do not trust.

I was put on the waiting list in May. It is now August. I have waited more than 8 weeks to see someone. Dont waste your time with unprofessional reception making excuses for not doing callbacks after the 8 weeks as mentioned in the initial phone calls (multiple times). I ended up just hanging up on her excuses.
