I've been with RTA for over 10 years and have seen a lot of changes, good and bad, over that time. A bit of my story first, I had several back surgeries and was on Percocet, fentanyl patches, and demerol all prescribed for several years. When time came to cease medications, my surgeon did not taper me down and instead told me to deal with it. RTA was there for me when nothing else was. I have never been treated with anything but the utmost respect by all staff. I have had several major health problems during my time and these people never failed to make sure that I was receiving the best care I possibly could. Yes, sometimes there are long waits, but there's shortages of nurses in every health care setting across the nation. People don't realize what these nurses go through dealing with several hundred patients a day, some not too happy most of the time, and even people screaming at them to do their job faster. As a retired health care professional myself, I empathize with these nurses and until you've done their job you have no right to criticize. Once these nurses have underwent their extensive training you can get in and out in minutes. The counselors I know there at present are some of the best and most caring people I've had the pleasure to get to know and they have helped me tremendously. Also, I would like to point out one extremely special person, Renita Wallace. She started as my counselor years ago and is now the Program Director. I have never met a person as genuine, kind, and caring as she is. She saved my life as I was going through my health issues in the last 5 years. She even helped my son (with my permission) through these last years. I honestly don't know where I would be without this wonderful lady. She's the best thing that has ever happened to RTA and I hope RTA realizes what they have in her. One last thing, thank you, Holly for also putting up with me over the years even when I couldn't tolerate myself! Thank you to all staff, you've been most wonderful to me!

This place has given me my life back! Everyone here is very understanding and friendly, I don't feel judged. Although it may not be ideal for some, it's better than the alternative. I am able to live a 'normal' life now. On a side note, I just won a free raffle and got all of these goodies. If you are struggling, I would suggest just speaking with them and doing your research to see if it can help change your life too.

I useta go dire to and I just loved it I toad em I was a dikted to tramadol I been hooked on tramadol for 30 years and Dat stuff had done and took over my life but day wooting start me out on but 30 MG but by the end of Dat dire first week day done had me takingĥ 135 MG and I loved it and it helped me get off tramadol but now day got me hooked on there methadone but yea dem nurses is slower than a dang couple of old Sloths it took em and hour and forty minutes to get me my dose the last time iz up ire day dab jam slow and day wanted me to put my cigarette out before I got back in the building Dat ain't rite ya know it

I stopped coming here, I would not recommend this place to anybody trying to get actual help, I normally don't do reviews but the way this place treats their clients I had to say something, I recommend brightview its right down the road from this place they actually care about you, I went to brightview at 1pm they close at 2, they stayed after they closed til 5pm just to help me because I was withdrawing from the 100mg methadone I was being given at this place, I had to force myself to go cold turkey for 6 days before I felt like enough time had gone by before I could take a suboxone, One time I even went to rowan treatment and my debit card was having issues this is after 4 months of going btw, they wouldn't even see me at rowan treatment, brightview didn't even charge me, and on top of that the nurses at rowan treatment are terrible people, it doesn't take 20 minutes to dose 1 person, their back there playing around not taking their jobs seriously, It would take me 2 seconds to do my dose then leave why would I wait 4 hours just to dose lol, i'm pretty sure its because they know the people going there have to take their medicine so their gonna come anyway no matter how you treat them. I'm just glad i'm clean now, I'm starting to feel like my old self again, even tho I felt like id never feel normal again. Sobriety is the Best way to live, having to come here every morning was awful. You couldn't pay me to go here again, and I would not recommend this place to anybody that actually wants to get actual help.

I have been going to this clinic for several years and we finally have someone in charge who truly cares about the patients, staff and overall environment of the facility. Given the circumstances of this establishment being shorthanded, Ranita (The director) has been amazing with dealing with patients as they get irritated or agitated because of the wait time due to shortage of nurses. She has helped not only myself, but others I know as well to the best of her capabilities which I haven’t seen anything she isn’t capable of doing. I feel as if she’s not given enough credit for the change she’s brought since becoming director. Secondly, Lashonda, Kellen, and the doctor have also been amazing. If I have any issue going on, everyone works as a team to help resolve whatever the issue may arise. I strongly recommend for anyone interested in MAT treatment to give this place a chance, it is literally lifesaving. Laken Hall
