AdCare Rhode Island has several locations for both residential and outpatient services. Using the 12-Steps and evidence-based practices, AdCare helps men and women struggling with substance use or mental health conditions find recovery. AdCare Rhode Island’s evidence-based therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), expressive arts, group and individual therapy, and medication-assisted therapies. Specialized, Professional Care AdCare Rhode Island leads addiction and mental health treatment with a team of professionals. Clients receive expert, professional care at each step of their treatment, inpatient and outpatient. A crisis stabilization program helps clients with dual-diagnosis get quick care for presenting psychiatric symptoms and addiction. AdCare Rhode Island provides daily AA meetings on-site. They also have a special program for Veterans and First Responders, which houses clients among other Veterans or First Responders and caters to their needs. Integrative Treatment for Each Client A combination of evidence-based and 12-Step treatments help address the needs of each unique client. AdCare seeks to involve and support family during treatment, inviting them to family therapy sessions and a virtual educational session, held once a month. Their 90-day promise welcomes back clients who relapse after completing AdCare’s 90-day treatment program for a complimentary stay of 30 days. Recovery in The Suburbs AdCare Rhode Island is located in a peaceful woodland area, just a few minutes from an international airport and downtown Providence. Their newly renovated facility has 59 beds with semi-private rooms and private bathrooms. Amenities include a fitness center, basketball court, outdoor patio, and access to electronics. AdCare Rhode Island is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most major insurances.

I had in patient treatment in late fall. The AD Care facility was great! It was clean, very nice & comfortable place to stay. The food is very good and the cafeteria was clean and has a great onvionce. The staff are all very friendly and address your needs with a smile. The staff tends to all your needs and go out of their way to help you. The programs are thorough. They treat you for your physical ailments you may be experiencing as well as psychological aspects of your life. It is truly a all in one treatment facility. They are definitely spot on for the treatment one may be seeking. Hats off to the great staff at AD Care RI. Thank you for all the help that you provided me. Forever Grateful. Rick A

So for my experience this far it has been very very awesome. I am looking forward to my recovery here and experiencing what has yet to come. I'm sad that I cannot explore the woods and that they do not have an art room but Nicole expressed that an art room is coming. Eventually I may be able to visit the creek. Karen as well Cianna are so attentive and understanding. The rest of the staff like Keith, Jeesa, Sabrina and Justin are the bomb diggity.

The staff at this facility were really great and helpful throughout my journey this time around and the place itself is pretty well kept. The group facilitators and groups themselves were really helpful with actually understanding my addiction. I've been to a few other detox/residential places in RI and this is by far the best overall. I feel confident and supported leaving Adcare with the right tools and networks to help along the way. If you want to get sober I would highly recommend coming here.

Once I finally got in here, it was good. The admission process is a pain in the butt. And to be quite honest not very helpful AT ALL. The website is also misleading, there is no pool and no store. What you can bring in is ambiguous and not super clear. However once you get in, The staff overall is great. They genuinely care about you and your progress. They know your names and if they don’t, they learn them. The counselors take the time make sure you have the tools you will need for the rest of your journey. They will always open the door if you knock, even if they aren’t your counselor. I have had great experiences here. Yes experiences but they always have welcomed me back with open arms.
