Founded in October 2021, Diversity Counseling provides mental health and substance use treatment for clients across New England, including Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Levels of care range from outpatient services to intensive outpatient programs (IOP), addressing conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, eating disorders, and more. Empowering Growth Through Clinical Care The center delivers a wide scope of care through individual therapy, group counseling, couples counseling, and crisis intervention. Clinicians draw on evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused interventions, helping clients explore challenges, build coping skills, and strengthen relationships in a safe, therapeutic environment. Breaking Barriers, Building Safe Spaces With bilingual therapists fluent in Spanish and Haitian Creole, the center creates inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+, Hispanic, Latino, Caribbean, and other minority communities. Specialized services extend to substance use assessments for Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, support for survivors of domestic violence, and culturally sensitive care designed to remove barriers, empowering individuals to heal with confidence and support.
