They try and get you on the shot. When that didn't work they made me wait 4 days without meds. I'm taking Gabapentin for anxiety and nerve problems and on the shot. I had to get my shot 2 days early bcuz of w/d I got my meds from a diff Dr bcuz mine was on vacation. She didn't write my prescription right, I was rushed out bcuz the mental health lady couldn't work so they r only open 2 days. Now I'm 2 days without my gabs. I could have picked them up on the 13th when CVS said I could. They don't know your case plan and just say anything..I'm supposed to take 3 a day with an option to take an extra half if needed bcuz I am still getting up to my normal dose. Gabapentin isn't a controlled substance in NC and I been on it 2 months. Noone should run out of their mental health meds and the front desk people to just say whatever. NO Gabapentin isn't a controlled substance! I can get them 3 months at a time. I been there for 7 months never failed a drug test. Don't! Mess with peoples mental health meds. Don't give someone info when you don't know what ur talking about. Give the phone to someone else.

Made appointment for counseling. Got numerous reminders from THEM. Arrived and counselor not there. Waited for 40 minutes. No show and then NEVER received a call or any explanation from them or counselor. Ever. Amazingly bad protocol or manners.

Everyone in that office is extremely nice considerate and caring. I have been to several treatment centers and none compared to this one.

Southern Family Medicine is a great place. Jelena McKeithan, NP has the best bedside manner, listens to my concerns/needs, and is very responsive! Highly recommend!
