I've been part of the recovery community for over 15 years and an addict who lived on the streets for over 40 years of my life. Mending Hearts is just like any other recovery business; they are in it to make money. Great name to make people think that they care but they actually fall very short of being a decent recovery business. I've had personal experience with addicts that reached out to my organization for help and were able to get into Mending Hearts for treatment and I would say that they look for any reason they can find to kick someone out in order to open space for the next person or "stack of cash", and most reasoning is far from fair. You cannot expect an addict who has spent years in a day to day quest to find the means to obtain drugs to confirm overnight to rules and regulations without mistakes being made. It's part of recovery. This facility and company seems to kick out women for the most miniscule reasons and then does not allow them to keep anything they have gained as in certificates for classes completed, etc. I would NOT recommend this business and will not allow any of our clients go there. It's another greed driven facility geared to profit off of already broken people and does not care if they break them even further when they kick someone out and justify it citing rules that were never put in place to help anyone heal from trauma and or addiction, let alone "Mend" anything.

Horrible place

Horrible. A package was mailed. There was proof of receipt- never was given to the recipient. Had to cook their own food. Very little food. My family member was treated badly. They very seldom answered the phone. They might need to be investigated. Not very professional.

posting on a fake email/name. do not go here!!!! they only care about money and a paycheck. i’ve seen them kick girls out for not having a job and putting people on contracts they’re first 2 weeks in phase 2 to get a job, meaning they only give you two weeks to get a job and then start pressing you hardddd!! then when it was time for me to graduate IOP i owed housing fees because i left one job and started another one so i didn’t have the money to pay towards my fees. they will kick you out over this or not give you your certificate you worked hard for which should be paid for by grants or insurance .. especially if you completed every class that’s manditory to go to everyday. i had to talk to my PO about what’s going on here. so thankfully i could leave without the certificate. they will kick you out if they simply don’t like you and they have favorites !

Mending Hearts is devoted to seeing women restore their lives from addiction. It is a wonderful organization that has devoted staff! I highly recommend Mending Hearts to anyone who is seeking treatment.
