This place is a joke. The owner should be ashamed of herself putting this clinic in the middle of a residential neighborhood like the Hill in New Haven. This is a predominantly Black & Latino neighborhood. One of the poorest neighborhoods in New Haven and the clinic is right next to a school. The entire neighborhood is filled with addicts and needles because of this clinic and the ssp (syringe services program) program on Columbus Avenue. The drug addicts that come to this place have overtaken the entire neighborhood. They are in community gardens shooting up, leaving needles everywhere, showering naked by using the water spout from the community garden. This program has DESTROYED the neighborhood. Get this disgusting clinic and the ssp program out of our neighborhood! You are TERRIBLE neighbors and should be ashamed of yourselves. Our children in the Hill have to walk home from school through a sea of needles and nodding out drug addicts, passed out drug addicts. It is an abomination. Would you want your children to have to walk home from school stepping over passed out drug addicts and needles? Do what is right and close this center. No one should have to be subjected to this. This clinic is disgraceful.

my best friend wouldn't still be alive today if TAF hadn't helped him titrate up his dosage and then started SLOWLY and methodically weaning the dose by maybe 1mg every other day. he went from 130mg on his first day here, and today he's gotten all the way down to 80mg and REALLY wants to keep it going and get off opiates for good, finally. i used Suboxone to quit and it def worked and saved my life, but it rotted every tooth out of my mouth and i can barely eat now, so now i'm a plaintiff in a class-action lawsuit against the manufacturers of Suboxone (Indivior, formerly Reckett-Benckiser). lawyer told me to expect a per-plaintiff payout of anywhere from $50k-$150k, just a waiting game now. these pictures are what Suboxone did to my teeth over the course of eight years.

Over 3 years ago I was down really bad homeless doing anything to get high every day of my life I decided to get help I went right to APT at 830 am and they treated me so well since that day and 3 and half years later I have my life back I have a roof over my head and a savings account with actual money in it lol. The APT foundation saved my life for the better. Every one who has an addiction needs to know if I can do it there's no reason you can't I highly recommend the APT to everyone. Thank you every one at APT for everything.

I been clean for a little over two years now. I can't speak for all locations but the Legion Avenue clinic has some of the best counselors. There was only one female counselor there who didn't belong and I'm so happy that she's no longer there. Except for her, everyone else there is wonderful. Unfortunately methadone has a bad stigma because I will say I know more people who abuse it rather than use it correctly but it is a miracle drug and program and it does work it you work it correctly.

Worst of all clinics. The clinicians can care less about clients. Also gay black guy in 1 Long wharf is super rude and acts as if he's better than clients.

This place does great things for people that need a little help. How can that be anything other than excellent? I know a few people that have completely turned their lives around & are now, basically back to the real version of themselves. It's truly a wonderful thing to see.
