Adult & Teen Challenge at their Jacksonville Women’s Rehab, also known as Jacksonville Women’s Home, offers both long-term faith-based rehabilitation and short-term licensed therapy. Adult & Teen Challenge’s recovery program promotes hard work, giving back, and helping others. Some of their therapeutic approaches include group therapy, individual therapy, 12-Step curriculum, life skills training, family therapy, and psychoeducation. The staff at this facility focus on achieving long-term sobriety through building spiritual, emotional, physical, social, and educational foundations. Biblical studies, nutritional counseling, recreation activities, and curriculum related to coping mechanisms and chemical dependencies are provided. 86% of patients report being sober after one year of program completion, and 92% of patients report being in good health after one year of program completion. There are 4 different program levels and duration of stay, listed below. Recovery, Level 1 Lasting 14 weeks, patients will attend courses that educate and evolve previous negative thought processes and beliefs, and learn the beginning steps to start a life-long journey of recovery. Renewal, Level 2 Lasting 12 weeks, patients will dive into their past relationships and identity issues while participating in spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical work. Restoration and Healing, Level 3 Lasting 12 weeks, this stage starts to build a foundation for the future through identifying each patient’s talents and motivations. Transition, Level 4 The 4th and final stage lasts 12 weeks and puts the education and spiritual work into action. Patients start to re-enter society by securing employment and housing, participating in the community, and resurrecting family relationships.
