Wouldn't even get 1 star. Didn't even make it to the facility yet and I already see its going ro be an issue. Male receptionist attitude is not compatible for the position. His tone and demeanor are disgusting. Im sure this isnt the first time heard.
Title: Clear Communication and Care Coordination Needed I want to share my experience with Aspire Hospital regarding a loved one. When I first called to verify their medication list, the nurse was unclear, and the doctor never returned my call. I was reaching out because the patient’s behavior was concerning, potentially dangerous, and appeared worse than when they first arrived. The patient was later transferred to Conroe Emergency due to tremors, but the hospital reported that all tests came back normal. The next day, the patient ended up in the Methodist Emergency Room because their arms were flailing uncontrollably, their legs were swollen, and they were experiencing severe head pain. Finally, I was able to speak with the caseworker at Methodist Hospital, who said she could not obtain the full medication list and that Aspire had not allowed the patient to return. Once the team—including the caseworker, the nurse who confirmed the diagnosis, the pharmacy, and Dr. Heran, a knowledgeable psychiatrist who clearly explained the best next steps—coordinated a transfer to Kingwood Pines, the patient began to stabilize and communicate more clearly. I want to emphasize that I am sharing this to inform, not to harm. At one point, when I called because the patient sounded worse and spoke with the nurse, the doctor contacted a family member, reportedly due to concerns about potential legal issues. I did not fully understand this action, but it added confusion during an already stressful time. Overall, this experience highlights the critical importance of clear communication and coordination between hospital staff, caseworkers, and family members during urgent situations.
Mental health diagnosis and treatment for any psychiatric condition. Good hospitality during stays
Most horrible place. Don’t check in voluntary expect yo stay to be 10 days. Worst place ever. Traumatized doesn’t begin to cover it. Also the food comes from the jail. Food is horrible. Never ever go here. Please reach help somewhere else.
Staff work very hard here and truly care about the patients.
The staff here is great very nice professional and always take care of your needs !!!The food is horrible no nutritional value it is bought from the local jail or prison . I couldn’t eat half the time because it was so horrible other patients would not either !!! They have a fully functioning kitchen and do not use it because of the cost , they had cooks but fired them to save money . Do not check in here unless they are cooking food at the hospital !!!
This place is a joke you willingly sign yourself in they refuse to let you check yourself out 2 of the people that we have spoke with is highly disrespectful they do not tell you information even if your on the paperwork I will never ever recommend their facility to anyone and to say the patient can only have$5 at a time for the vending machines is ridiculous who wants to trust other people with there money they work hard for? Every review on this company has been correct about this place. I'm filing a report on this place
I concur with the top comment, my pcp sent me there TRAUMATIZED does not cover it
