The entire staff was extremely helpful. I have been a patient here for over 2 years, and the receptionists know me by name and are extremely friendly. My physical therapist is very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone

HORRIBLE VISIT! I do not recommend coming here! I brought my 14 month old due to an extreme cough, my child gasps for air everytime she coughs. Dr.Pamela Schulz was very inpatient with my child, while checking her ear she grabbed her head with a full adult force moved it to the other side, I heard a pop once she did that. She stated “I need to check you, that’s why I have to grab you like this”. Which I’ve seen very aggressively. She then proceeded with typing her notes, did not bother to apologize. She was just silent. My 14 month old was crying & screaming due to how scared she was of this DR. She did not bother to help my daughter with care, she said it’s just a cough it will take weeks for her to get better. I asked if she can give her a steroid to help her, since it has been more than 10 days with the cough. Dr. Pamela Schulz REFUSED to help my 14 month old, stating she did not need anything to just continue giving her Zarbees. I mentioned to her it has not been helping her at all, the cough is worse. Dr.Pamela Schulz has no sympathy for children, she did not prescribed my 14 month old any type of medication. She’s seen my 14 month old very sick, with a runny nose & horrible cough. & yet still refused to care for my daughter. I do not recommend taking any of your children here. I was treated very racism due to being Hispanic/Latin. This is a place to HELP but we got NO HELP! Please stay away from this horrible Dr!!! I will be contacting corporate!

Terrible patient care, called to say I was running late for appointment was told no problem. Got to appoint 15 late and was told I was no showed and I could reschedule if I like. I asked if we could be seen we would wait, was told they sent a message back and were told provider would not see us, no manager avaiable to talk to, no lead, no medical personal at all showed face. The lady at the desk told me if I didn’t have a name of the person I talked to there was nothing she could do to know who I even talked to, I asked well wouldn’t it be documented in the chart and showed her the number and time I was talked to and she said no we dont know who you talked to. I asked for a copy of the no show policy was told she didn’t have one and her manger could give that to me handed me a sticky note and told me to write down what I wanted from her. I wasn’t given a manager name, wasn’t given an estimate answer for a reply, and she didn’t take or ask for my name. So after I handed back my sticky note and walked away got to go back and she was now on the phone discussing our interactions with someone and she asked the lady next to her to help me. Where I let her know my name was never taken for a return phone call. I’m. Sorry but for primary care to be unable to see someone 15 min late to an appointment with it not posted anywhere that you will be no showed and offered reschedule if 15 min late to an appointment, and you are willing to wait for the provider to be available that’s just terrible patient care. And honeslty don’t truly belive a manager reply will be coming when you don’t even ask for my contact information. And how inappropriate to put back on me to write down the questions I have for the manager? Again questioning the documentation and effectiveness of the staff at this facility due to the poor actions seen today. Was never given the lady at the desk “helping” me and when I asked her for her name she scoffed gave it to me, I said well since I need to keep track of who I talk to and it’s not documented when you talk to patients I need get names.

Child's pediatrician sent us for a blood draw. Everything else seemed fine, except that after one blood draw from my child's left arm, we were ready to leave, the nurse found that the blood draw order included some other tests that need more blood, she had to do another blood draw, this time on my child's right arm. The nurse apologized. We were heart broken for both of the little arms of my 5-year old child had to be poked by needles. The other blood draw was due to the error of the nurse, and it should be totally avoided. It is very dangerous that the nurse did not read the order or did not understand the order at best. Everybody going there should be really careful!!!

Had a doctor's appointment for my son scheduled for 3:45. Mequon road had construction on it and I arrived 8 minutes late. They only give you a 10 minute window before you have to reschedule for another visit. I should have still made it on time but they decided to change the appointment to 3:40 p.m. without telling me, making me 13 minutes late and having to reschedule. They had no compassion or understanding whatsoever. This, after having so many times of sitting in the waiting room for 20 or 30 minutes past my appointment time. these people don't care about your children.

Third update. This place is absolutely crooked. Our children's doctor is now through Childrens. They recommended a blood panel. Seems reasonable for a once in awhile test. The Bill for a blood panel $1800 for in network!?!?! Second Update: After talking with their "patient relations" after a couple weeks of trying to get ahold of them, they do not care, they are just kind voices to tell you that you are wrong and are denying everything. I can for certain validate not this is a great place for care, but an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE establishment when it comes to the back end billing. Very unfortunate that such great care staff are under this reckless organization. First Update update: If I could knock a start of here I would for 0 stars. I worked with Children's to fix this billing issues and put some of the recent items onto a payment plan that took care of everything. They then sent it all to collections so now im getting double charged and have to fight them while they ruin my credit. I wish I never brought my family here. Previous: Great care and great doctors, however the billing and accuracy are TERRIBLE. We were mis billed, recorded my sons information incorrectly, and sent doctors without prior authorization by our insurance. Rather than working with our insurance they sent us to collections instead. We have spent MANY hours wasted with them and it was all wasted. I would not recommend this hospital, unfortunately there is no other choice for children for access to great doctors.

If you take your child here for something, you may have to take out a second mortgage to pay for the services. The staff is very friendly, but $547 for each 1 hour session of PT where they show you the same exercises everyone knows and can find on YouTube for free is out of line. When you ask how much it will cost they say don’t worry, your insurance has approved the care. So for 4 sessions it was $2,188. You don’t know the cost because the bills come after you are already done. Please stay away from this place unless you have big $$$$

Lori, the receptionist at the front desk was a bowl of sun shine. She was so warm and kind, it caught me off guard but definitely made for a comforting visit. She made me feel so at ease! The entire staff seemed to be very cheerful and kind. From doctors to nurses, ultrasound tech, and reception staff. It was over all a fantastic experience, the best children's location I have been to! Thank you Children's Mequon!
