Some primary care providers offer mental health diagnosis and treatment. This can prevent patients from developing more serious conditions.
Substance use and mental health can occur simultaneously as co-occurring disorders. Treatment for co-occurring disorders involves therapy and other personalized interventions to address both conditions.
Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

this place is horrible even when you get a pass from urgent care for the ER they do no help you I have been sitting here feeling at my lowest while nurses keep coming out and calling the same peoples name rather than helping the person in the wheel chair with heart problems ! Would not come back here again

Christiana used to care. They don't care about the patients. It's in and out as fast as you can. This is primary care physicians. Doctors don't note concerns when other physicians call asking for tests. They don't document patients concerns. Always try to push you off to another facility. They used to be good and actually care. I call them Christiana with NoCare! Would of given no stars but option not available!

Spent almost 7 hours last night waiting in the ER after my dad had blood taken for diabetic shock. You feel like you're forgotten while crammed in the small waiting room

After several long hours laying in a hospital bed I wasn’t treated, so I left.

To whom it may concern, I am writing to share a review of my experience at the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center in Newark, Delaware. After being transported to your facility with serious injuries, I was discharged while still in significant pain. It was later discovered that Christiana Hospital completely missed several rib fractures. My primary physician reevaluated me and ordered additional X-rays, which revealed numerous fractured ribs, including one located near my heart. Following this discovery, I was evaluated by cardiothoracic surgery at a university hospital in Philadelphia. This required specialized care and frequent CT scans. I am very grateful that my primary physician recognized the need for further evaluation and a referral. Based on this experience, I do not recommend the Trauma Center or ED at Christiana Hospital. I received the necessary expert care only after seeking treatment at a university hospital in Philadelphia.

Patients come here at their most vulnerable times desperate for help or an answer for whatever they may be going through, on 4/13/26 I came to the ER with my own issues and like others say the way the nurses were rude, dismissive and careless is a understatement (not to mention I am an employee at this facility) I am saddened and embarrassed to say I am an employee at the moment due to the actions of the nurses that night . A long line of sick desperate patients waiting to be signed in while the nurses say we need a minute while laughing behind the glass , I understand this work can feel unappreciated , tiring and repetitive but that’s what it is , I will do whatever in my power to never have to witness what I did that night in the ER , BTW I was there in the waiting room for 9 hours before I left without being seen some patients 18+ .in the waiting room This hospital is a beautiful embarrassment for Delaware.

On 12/30/2025 my husband had a medical issue while at a dentist appointment. We left the dental office right away and drove to Christiana ER West Grove campus as we suspected a possible stroke. Since this was not expected, I was not carrying his Medicare part A and B as well as his Humana supplemental cards. Medical staff was fine. When admin person took his info, I mentioned we did not have his cards. She said no problem we can probably look it up. On January 28, 2026, I received my first bill for over $4000 which made me realize insurance info was never looked up or found. I called the third party billing number immediately to provide the information. 6 calls later and the issue has not been resolved. I've been threatened with a bill collector and was forced to set up a payment plan, that supposedly I can delay each month. This is exhausting me mentally and physically. I am a senior citizen and I am my husband's sole caregiver. This borders on senior abuse and entering insurance info should not take this long. I have yet to find someone to help me.

This hospital is ridiculous. Lady passed out in the waiting room and all they did was tell her that she was fine and put her in a wheelchair to wait. This is crazy.
