What really stands out about Dallas Detox Center is how deeply the staff cares. This isn’t just a job for them—you can tell they are passionate about helping people heal and rebuild their lives. Every interaction felt intentional and meaningful, and I always felt like more than just a patient. They take the time to listen, to encourage, and to meet you exactly where you are without judgment. I especially want to recognize Haley, one of the case managers , who went above and beyond in every way possible. She was always there to answer questions, offer guidance, and make sure I felt supported throughout my entire stay. Her compassion and dedication truly made a lasting impact on me. whenever I would tell her, I needed something done. She made sure that she put time aside for me and that it got taken care of no matter what and that is something that did not go unnoticed about her and her ability to make sure that the staff were well trained, and always treating the clients correctly and with love and compassion, put me in all because it wasn’t always like that at any of the other places I’ve been to and I knew that I was in good hands whenever I saw her walking in the room and she make sure that if we brought any type of problem to her that it got taken care of that very same day. She was one of the most kind hearted people I had ever met and she made sure to spread her love to all of the clients there not to mention make each and everyone of us laugh every time she interacted with one of us! Josh, the Director of Operations, does an incredible job leading this facility. You can see his commitment to excellence reflected in how smoothly everything runs and in the high standard of care provided by the entire team. His leadership creates an atmosphere of trust and professionalism that you feel every single day. His interaction with the clients and how much compassion in love he has for them is truly one of the best things I got to see at this facility… It honestly warmed my heart more than words can describe. His dedication to go above and beyond for each individual there almost brought me to tears and the way he chooses to be a “yes man” to make sure that he meets all of the clients expectations and make sure that they are comfortable during the stay there is something that I haven’t seen any other treatment center that I’ve been at before and that is what makes this treatment center one of the best ones out there!! And I would send any friend or loved one of mine there above any other place in a heartbeat!!! I truly can’t say enough amazing things about my experience at Dallas Detox Center. Walking in, I was overwhelmed and unsure of what to expect, but from the very first moment, I was met with kindness, respect, and genuine compassion. The entire team creates an environment where you feel safe, supported, and understood—something that makes all the difference when you’re going through such a difficult and vulnerable time. And I can’t forget Amy, one of the nurses, who was absolutely wonderful. She brought such warmth and reassurance, especially during moments when I felt uncertain or overwhelmed. Her kindness, knowledge, and genuine concern for patients made me feel safe and cared for in a way that’s hard to put into words. The program itself is well-structured and thoughtfully designed, offering not just detox support but also the tools, resources, and encouragement needed to begin long-term healing. The staff works together as a team, and that level of collaboration really shows in the quality of care provided. If you or someone you love is struggling with mental health or substance abuse, I wholeheartedly recommend Dallas Detox Center. Choosing to seek help can be one of the hardest decisions you’ll ever make, but this is a place where you will be met with compassion, dignity, and unwavering support. My experience here was truly life-changing, and I will always be grateful for the role this incredible team played in my journey toward recovery.

Top tier rehab, Food was Gas, Staff was Gas, you can tell everyone truly cares about their job. Outings were always fun and getting to see the horses and work with them at Equine was fire, Big shouts out to Haley, Josh, Sydney, and Rebekah. All great people. Honestly did not really want to leave, crazy as that sounds.

Dallas Detox was great. It took a little while to get use to and we wanted to leave but Amy (nurse) was great at explaining why we should stay. She was amazing the entire time we were there! She taught us a lot. The entire nursing staff was amazing!!!! (Heather, Cindy, Erica and of course Deb) Sidney was our case manager and she was a delight to work with. She always had us laughing. If there was anything you needed Antoine was the man to go to. He made things happen. Katie was a great therapist. She listened very well and was just a great person to connect with. Rebecca (tech) I can’t say enough about her. She was simply amazing!!! Her smile in the mornings was very contagious. Chris (tech) ran his tail off. He would always listen and help with what you needed! Landon (road runner) was great! He was a pleasant person, always running but always had a smile on his face! If there was any complaints he made sure to deal with them and follow up with you to let you know they were handled. Last but definitely not least there was Chef Nathan (Nathaniel 🤣🤣🤣) he would always go above and beyond for us. We are diabetic and he would make special things for us. His sense of humor was great! If there was something I requested he would make it. Chef Zach was also great. He researched and found diabetic snacks for us. It was great getting to know him. He even played cornhole with my husband. I can honestly say it was the staff that made this place a good place to get help!

Ma let me tell you… I went thru it at this place! In a very positive and life changing way. I did 45 days at Ft. Worth Wellness (same place) and I regret none of it. From the beginning… Nursing is on point and absolutely wonderful as well as the providers (Stanley was amazing). Case management dis everything they were supposed to do. My court was handled as well as short term disability. Josh Leder (now running the show) was on point and truly cared for my well being, even tho I fought him the whole way, this man quite possibly saved my marriage and myself. (Glory to God!) My therapist Chris was awesome as well. I had him set up couples counseling and brought my wife in on several occasions. Those sessions were great and my wife agrees. The tech team was great. Very attentive, supportive and patient. Too many to name but they were all memorable. I truly submitted to this place and I am a thousand percent better for it. Thanks you Ft. Worth Wellness!

If you’re reading Google reviews about rehab centers, you’re probably just as nervous as I was when I checked myself into DDC. Checking yourself into rehab is a daunting commitment, but believe me when I say it’s probably one of the most important things you’ll ever do for yourself and/or the people around you. If your goal is to get clean, the people who can do that on their own are few and far between. Rehab might seem like a huge hassle that you don’t have time for, but it’s an extremely necessary “Step 0” that allows you to understand yourself and your addiction in a safe, controlled environment, surrounded by people who who have gone through exactly what you’re going through and then some. And they’ll be as honest with you as you allow them to be. I spent a little over a month at DDC, and the experience was transformative. The combination of AA curriculum plus Cognitive Behavioral Therapy really clicked in a way that finally made me understand that my addiction wasn’t just a “bad habit”, but a fundamental misfiring of my brain and body chemistry in response to alcohol. Nearly all of the technicians, case managers and therapists are recovered addicts. They’re brutally honest about their assessment of you, but just as important, are brutally honest about themselves and their own recovery experiences. It makes them really relatable, and makes your own addiction seem way less insurmountable. I hope I never have to go to treatment again, but if I do, I’ll knock on DDC’s door first.

My son was a resident recently at the Weatherford location of Dallas Detox Center for 45 days, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the experience he had there. Dropping him off was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done as a parent. I was an absolute wreck. The staff reassured me that with my son’s approval they would keep me informed about his progress, and they kept their word. Knowing he was safe, respected, and treated like family gave me peace during a very difficult time. At first, my son struggled with the adjustment, especially the no cell phone rule. Looking back now, he understands why it was necessary. It helped hold him accountable and prevented contact with friends who could be harmful to his recovery. His case manager, Josh Leder, was an incredible blessing to both my son and me. Josh became like a brother to him and helped him learn accountability, taught him how to pray the rosary, and helped him begin to love himself again. Josh never gave up on my son, even during the difficult moments when he struggled. He saw potential in my son when my son couldn’t see it in himself. Josh also supported me as a parent and understood how important it was for me to be part of my son’s recovery. What meant a lot to me is that many of the staff have gone through recovery themselves. They truly understand addiction and lead by example. The entire staff from the techs to the counselors, therapists, and nurses were caring, supportive, and genuinely invested in the patients. The facility itself is beautiful and peaceful. My son appreciated their focus on healthy living with fresh meals, exercise, and a no sugar or soda policy. He especially benefited from the yoga sessions and equine therapy. The equine therapy was something he looked forward to every week and said it was very serene and calming for him. Today my son has over 60 days sober and has moved on to a sober living home. Josh Leder still checks in on him and continues to support his recovery, which means so much to us. If someone is truly ready to put in the work to get better, Dallas Detox Center provides the support, structure, and compassionate staff to help make recovery possible. I am incredibly grateful to Josh Leder and the entire team for taking such great care of my son.🙏

have a friend who recently checked himself in, and during that time Joshua was incredibly compassionate. He truly cares about helping others and making sure families stay connected. He told us that day or night we could reach him, and he was always quick to respond. He even led Bible studies. God is how we gain our freedom back how we break every chain and every soul tie off our lives. We didn’t know if this place would have a Christian impact, but it turned out to be exactly what my friend needed. That alone was such a blessing. It’s clear the Lord is using Joshua to share His love with others. None of this was mandatory it was a gift. They kept a strict, structured environment, from quiet time to allowing residents to continue working and attend classes. That balance made a difference. Joshua, thank you again for supporting our family during this time. We are truly grateful.
