Empowerment Resource Center (ERC) is an exceptional healthcare facility in the heart of Downtown Atlanta - on Peachtree Street. Their staff and providers are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and compassionate, creating a space where people truly feel supported and heard. ERC is an Atlanta “Center of Excellence” in HIV prevention and care, playing a critical role in helping end the HIV epidemic through education, access, and community leadership. Highly recommend ERC for outstanding care and impact. You will not be disappointed!
Came here for a comprehensive STI panel and everything was super smooth and easy! They validated parking, I was in and out in about 30 minutes having done all the necessary test and the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Milly drew my blood and I barely felt it, and Angel and Juju at the front desk made sure I had everything that I needed and felt comfortable while I got the work done. They all deserve a raise lol. Would definitely recommend!

From the moment I walked into the clinic, Juju and Angel at the front desk set the tone for an experience that felt genuinely caring. They weren’t just doing their jobs—they were warm, patient, and incredibly reassuring. Juju greeted me with a smile that immediately eased my anxiety, and Angel took extra time to make sure I understood the check-in process and felt comfortable with everything. Their kindness felt sincere, and in a medical setting, that makes all the difference. The rest of the staff continued that same level of care. Everyone I encountered was calm, supportive, and attentive, which helped take away any lingering nervousness. Dr. Lauren Allain was thorough and informative, explaining everything in a way that made me feel both confident and included in my care. She didn’t rush, and I appreciated how thoughtfully she answered my questions. Overall, this clinic provided one of the most comforting experiences I’ve had.
I popped in to ERC for a Flu shot, the staff was super friendly, the vibes were great, and the whole process was fast and painless. I was in and out before I could even finish scrolling my phone. The clinic is clean, welcoming, and centrally located downtown Atlanta. If you need a flu shot or any other health services, this is the place to go!

Some of the best staff I’ve ever encountered. Everyone from the front desk team to the medical assistant and the doctors who saw me handled me in a way that was impeccable. Even though I was under the weather facing done excruciating pain from strep Lauren and the team shed some rays of sunlight on that gloomy day.
I had a great experience at ERC clinic at the front desk, there’s juju and Angel and they were great and punctual. Kate the nurse practitioner was great and helpful when dealing with my concerns and privacy. Thank you ERC!
