I would not recommend Firm Foundation to anyone seeking genuine support in recovery. The program is marked by poor management, dishonesty, and a lack of professionalism. Staff show little empathy, and instead of fostering trust, they openly share clients’ personal experiences with others, causing shame and embarrassment. The director, Erica Welch, runs the program like a dictator, relying on manipulation and scare tactics rather than encouragement or compassion. Although they pride themselves on being a faith-based program, they have stripped away the spiritual foundation they advertise. In addition, the program structure is misrepresented, there are no separate levels of care such as PHP, IOP5, or IOP3. Instead, everyone is grouped together, which undermines individualized care and progress. This program fails to provide the safe, supportive, and trustworthy environment that people in recovery truly need. Serious changes in leadership, integrity, and structure are badly overdue!

Firm Foundation saved my life. The staff is the best around and they offer the most comprehensive treatment program in the country! During my time there I was treated with love and respect. Its Christ centered approach made me feel very comforted and opened my heart to new beginnings. I was both Saved and Baptized while in treatment at Firm Foundation. Thanks to the staff and the program, I have a second chance at life and look forward to serving our loving & gracious God in the future!!

Main therapist Erica is verbally abusive and condescending to clients and several have left because of her attitude. I was discharged from this treatment facility for not having a job, while I was in TREATMENT. The therapist told me I was not allowed to workout (which is a positive outlet for me) until I found a job. Again, I was in treatment without a car, looking to focus on my personal growth in my short time there. I was discharged for not having employment, while being sober the entire time I was here and completing all required assignments. This place is a money grab and they have no interest in helping individuals recover from life controlling issues. Andrew B. And Coley M. Were outstanding in facilitating groups and coordinating intakes so that was one positive about this facility. Before anyone comes to any conclusions about me, I am still doing amazing, will be a year sober in a few months, closer to God than ever, and yes, I am employed again now that I don’t have the rigorous guidelines of this treatment center over my head. There are certainly better options out there for treatment from life controlling issues.

Finding a treatment program is a daunting and emotional experience. A friend recommended that our son try to find a Christ-centered treatment program, and he called Firm Foundation based on that suggestion. After his first conversation, he felt heard and hopeful. The communication with the team has been excellent. They have been responsive and compassionate to our needs and are well-educated in dealing with insurance and other obstacles. The clients' well-being is their top priority. We highly recommend this program.

This is a Great community, ALL the staff is amazing and willing to help you in ANY situation. This place is the most genuine place I have been for recovery

Coley is outstanding! He is so professional, is thorough with answering every question you may have, explains all of your options, and is willing to go above and beyond to help you with your needs in any way possible. He is a great employee.

This place really helped me on my road to recovery. Specifically coley helped me realize my self worth and get back on track!
