My friend is there, they have two buildings he’s in the one on the left, one is newly remodeled, mostly everyone I have interacted with has been caring. The location: it’s in the hood, it’s not a shiny new building, then they give one star… tips if your unhappy usually it has nothing to do on the outside of you and everything to do on the inside of you probably because you’re unhappy here there and everywhere. Getting Sober is HARD, if you made it there then be thankful you’re not dead, because my friend must have a very qualified guardian angel that’s got him this far.
Went in there to get help. Found out they didn't take my insurance. Took me in anyways on a scholarship! Great people, great staff, great environment! This place literally saved my life. Love and miss you guys!
I thank God for Freedom House Sober Living. God used the people in this blessed program to walk along side my son. ✨ There was just the right amount of accountability, grace and mercy…just like Christ. My son is alive because of this blessed program. He is over 5 years sober, and raising his daughter in a Christian home. He’s living out his faith, glorifying God. Thank you Lord! Thank you Freedom House Sober Living. Susan
This program is a joke they say it's for second chances and it's really a set up they are not helping you they are using inmates to make themselves look good meanwhile they set them up once they don't need them anymore. They don't even provide proof of what they accuse you of the lady sam gowette goes off how she personally feels but will let a white person skate all in that program on drugs and send him to rehab and then let him back in the program but not a man who has passed every drug test, graduated from welding school, exceeded everyone's expectations and then set my husband up and even though he did not commit a crime she personally felt that he was a drug dealer and sent him back to prison. I've witnessed first hand how they have crack heads and meth heads and people on fentanyl hanging around and living there not only that they are all ex addicts which is fine but none of them should be getting high while employed there . Most of all the place is disgusting roach 🪳 infested all the grant money they get and they have them living in garbage what a joke you might as well do your time in prison because this place will set you up for failure.
Been living here for a few months now. I've learned so much while staying here. Jamie, Mario, George, Kevin & Donnell are the greatest staff members that leave bigger imprints than others 🙏
Freedom House took me in at my lowest point, They put structure in my life. Gave me exactly what I needed as far as treatment and hope. The staff are all in recovery, and truly have your best interest at heart. Never have I met a group of people that care so much about individuals trying to turn their life around. They helped me become the very best version of myself. Thank you Freedom House. If you’re looking for a treatment facility to make progress in this is the one. I went through inpatient first and transitioned over to sober living and they helped me transition to a three-quarter house.
This facility is in a rough part of town, and could have improved security to reflect this. Rehabilitation facilities are few and far between, and this facility reflects our societies lack of prioritization in these services. I would expect more of a facility but recognize that it’s likely under funded and under serviced. I would recommend improved transparency of how they use their funds to understand the quality of the facility. Depending on your loved ones level of need, and expectations, this may be a great opportunity for them but it will not be a good fit for all. The facility appears to be an old motel, and it’s reported that there is very easy access to drugs. The facility is reported to be crowded and not well maintained. Good luck to anyone considering their support. I hope you receive what you need.
Went to go pick up a friend who was in recovery and almost stepped on a needle in the parking lot. I saw roaches around the building. Upon leaving I was offered an 8 ball. Is there also a pool hall around? Not good for a recovery home to also be near alcohol!!!! After having my friend and their belongings in my car I now have bed bugs. It's very embarrassing and now my car smells like a bug bomb in the heat.
