Guided by a mission to help young people grow into healthy adulthood, Rutter House for Adolescents is a residential treatment program for teens ages 13–18 facing substance use disorder. Located within Gateway Rehab’s main campus at 100 Moffett Run Road in Center Township, the recently renovated facility offers 24/7 residential care in a structured setting. Treatment includes individual, group, and family counseling that supports early recovery, stability, and long-term growth. Support Adolescents Around the Clock The program follows an evidence-based and holistic approach that recognizes each adolescent’s unique story. Care includes individual therapy to address personal challenges, group counseling to build peer support, and family counseling to strengthen relationships. Psychiatric support is available as part of comprehensive care. Counselors help teens understand the roots of addiction while building healthy coping skills, accountability, and emotional resilience. Promote Wellness Through Movement Life at Rutter House balances structure, comfort, and connection. The 12-bed residential setting includes shared bedrooms and bathrooms in a safe, supervised environment designed for adolescents. Teens have access to indoor and outdoor amenities that support healthy routines and positive engagement, including a game room, basketball court, and extensive green space across the campus. The setting encourages movement, peer connection, and reflection throughout recovery.
