I used to go to mhmra at this location but government funding ran out and I was wondering does anyone know what happened to the substance abuse counselor Steve Eaton, he had a office there and he would drive me to aa meetings

Dr. Joseph did not care about my health it is hard to find a good doctor.

Pharmacy was excellent. Psychiatrist tried to take me off most of my medication without giving me adequate support. I’m schizoaffective and have severe cPTSD. Psychiatrist was not knowledgeable about trauma and pressed for details about my experience being tortured as a child. Not trans-friendly, either. Do not come here unless you really have to.

This facility does not deserve even a single star. I am highly disappointed with my experience here. It was clear that they prioritized insurance concerns over my brother's mental health. The staff regards mental health as a stigma rather than recognizing it as a legitimate illness. This is truly one of the worst places I have encountered.

This place has improved over the years with patience. It used to be worse back in the days.

It is the last resort because there is no real mental health help for teens and kids who are on Medicaid (like foster kids and adopted kids etc.) The building is run down and creepy. Parking is the worst. They finally got us a new case worker, she seems really nice and like she cares, but outside of that, the communication is not great and they hold the kids meds for ransome. They put them on really strong meds that they can't just stop and give one month at a time. Then NO ONE calls to set up and appointment and they don't make the next appointment at the current appointment. They have a portal and you can't do anything in there and close right at 5pm. People with lots of kids and work 50+ hours a week knows how fast a month goes by and you need refills and well, too bad. So, I guess my son is just not taking this one pill anymore, he is out and well, they won't refill until his appointment on Monday. And if he ends up in inpatient or at risk of hurting others, well, no one will be accountable for that either. It is a sad and bleak world out there for kids in the system... no one actually cares... not even the professionals who took an oath to "first, do no harm." Maybe their administration should pretend to be a patient and go through all the steps and intake and paperwork and the hours and hours and hours, and maybe once they have experienced things from the parent and patient point of view, they can actually helps kids and not just keep pushing them through mounds of paperwork and checkboxes to "keep them compliant" in care. Cause at the end of the day, people just seem to be "doing their job" but they don't seem to care about what their job is and who it is actually for.

My 24 year old grandson informed me that he had a good experience at his first appointment. Please advise who should he speak to for help with an apartment and a job? Thank you very much for your professionalism.
