Harris Center Respite, Rehabilitation and Re-Entry

This place has changed my life for the better. I needed help with my depression and the individuals working here have accommodated me every way they can to help me. Everyone is extremely friendly and willing to help. There have been times where the building is busy and you may need to wait a little for prescriptions ect.. but I wait longer at a McDonald's drive threw these days. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me!!!

just got put on hold, for over 20 mins trying to speak to “management” I’ll I wanted was to switch locations. The worst customer service who ever is working now in front desk. Harris county is a joke. Mental health should be taken seriously. Do not enroll here, or visit.

I haven't been to this particular location before as I only have been to the one on Long Dr. However I went this morning after 10am to see about regaining services to find out that parking at this location was a NIGHTMARE. Very few parking spots were available, and they were all taken. One woman who we assumed worked there came out to sit in her car parked in a visitor parking space, and sat there. We had to park under a tree with very little gravel down. Need more parking. This location is a little closer to us than the one on Long Dr, and that location has better parking.

If you are seriously needing help with a loved one please look somewhere else, these people are only here for their paychecks and have no patient health in mind, particularly the rude "counselors" and their "supervisors".

Went there for the first time and met a really creepy guy there who was making me really uncomfortable. He was singing out loud to his music and sat next to me. I was 19 he was in his 50s. After doing my screening he looked for me and found me. So I went to the bathroom to escape him. After quite a while he asked one of the guards in there to find me and the guard actually did it. This same guard was sitting at the table next to the door and saw us come in separately. This guy ended up following me outside. As he approached I asked a random nurse if she spoke Spanish and asked if she could translate. I typed "There's a man who won't leave me alone." She stayed with me until my Uber arrived. Thank you random nurse. Then my psychiatrist increased my medication when the other dosage was completely fine and I told her that. She told me to split it in half. A tiny pill. I also told them telehealth appointments are easier for me. They said they booked a telehealth appointment. Then I get a text saying that I missed my in person appointment!

The best place in houston to get mental health care. they also provide more services but this is what I went for. It is income based so services can be free for some patients but they really make sure to thoroughly figure out what’s going on & getting you the help you need. Walk-ins accepted!

If i can give them 0 stars i would. Horrible place. DoNt GO THERE. No one cares about yu. They just want money. Bad area. Bad clinic. No one helps you. U cant see the doctor. Cant get through to the doctor ever. Yet they need u to see the doctor. Nothing gets done. Management is horrible here. I suggest u save ur mental health because they make u even more upset. 😡 😠

Definitely one of the helpful locations. They greet you when coming in and I have had nothing but positive experiences here. One visit I was a bit ignored but front desk staff while they carried on their personal conversation but overall the counselors, drs and nurses are pretty nice and caring.
