Healing Pines Recovery for Men

Healing Pines helped me transform my life. I was at the end of my rope, about to lose my family, my home, my job and everything I valued. I didn't even have the strength to make the initial call, my wife had to do it, but when I saw the virtual tour video, I knew it was where I needed to be. It had everything I wanted- a small 8-man capacity, the health and fitness aspect, and LUXURY accommodations Paul was so accommodating and pulled some strings to help me get there and gave me some gentle prodding when I tried to delay my entry. When I arrived, Lindsay made me feel like a valued human, not a junkie like I felt before I came. When we arrived at the ranch, I was blown away. The virtual tour video truly only provided a small glimpse of what I saw. The other guys immediately accepted me in like I was part of their family. My bed was huge with a pillow top mattress. The gym was fully equipped with multiple cable weight systems, free weights, treadmills, an elliptical and a rowing machine. Also in the gym is a full size pickle ball court which I actually got pretty good at. Outside was 40 acres of land to roam, to gather thoughts, get exercise,, to build friendships and to heal. Also on the 40 acres was a full disc golf course. And everything was kept in good shape. In 30 days, I learned to love myself again. I built lifelong friendship with the other men in the house. I received top-notch therapy from multiple therapists who have all been through addiction themselves. I was never locked down or followed. I had a home-cooked meal five days a week and a catered meal on the weekends. Healing Pines stripped away all the stress of life And allows you to get to the root of whatever issues you're facing, Whether that's drugs, alcohol or just emotional distress. I will be honest, there was a ton of therapy and some of it wasn't easy. There were days I wanted to leave but I knew I needed to stick it out. On the weekends, they take us to do an activity like bowling, golfing, rock climbing, hiking, etc. I found joy in doing things soberly again. I used to only be able to get out of the house when I was high now I can't stand the thought of getting high. I still have work to do and I plan on hitting it face on so I stay sober for the rest of my life. I have my family back, I have my job back, and I have my life back and I attribute that to healing Pines. Healing Pines amplified all the best traits in my loved one. He came out of this program with clarity, healing, connection, and the resources to move forward in his life. Such an incredible place full of incredible people. From the staff to the brotherhood you will form during your time there, Healing Pines truly made a drastic and lasting impact on my life. I am forever grateful for what this place did for me, and would recommend it to anyone who is in need of help.

They gave me hope and literally saved my life I was at a point of such despair in my life I was angry I was still alive. I promised family and friends I would do whatever they asked just 1 more time.When it failed (I was sure that it would) I would then choose to end my suffering. With no hope at all I showed up to Healing Pines angry. I was welcomed by people in tears that my life had got to that point. They hugged me and told me I was worth saving. After many treatment centers over my 43 years I was shocked by the quality of the groups. They gave me tools and even integrated them into my life in real time. They taught me to be calm and present. Most of all they taught me to care about myself again. Many tears were shed and many hugs later I am and will be HPR alumni for life, a life I’m proud of and exited for. I truly love the staff there. It doesn’t feel like you’re just in treatment it feels like you’re part of something bigger, surrounded by people who understand exactly what you’re going through. Healing Pines Recovery was absolutely amazing in every single way possible, especially coming from a previous rehab; from the staff to the clients and everything in between. Not only did they provide adequate care but they went above and beyond to ensure that as a client I had the best possible experience and was given extremely useful knowledge and some. The staff made you feel like you were at home and they truly cared about your sobriety and well being. Whether it be participating in classes, working out in the gym, playing pickleball with us or simply spending time with all of us. The outings and meetings they took us to where also incredibly helpful in exposing me to different types of recovery and getting me out of my comfort zone as well as helping me find a sponsor! In addition, the three donkeys they have onsite provided me with an amazing opportunity to care for them and spend quality time with them which was extremely therapeutic for me while also helping me learn new skills. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of my time there and have the utmost respect for what Paul has created and for the staff and what they do here. Highly recommend to anyone who is struggling with an addiction or anything mental health wise. Healing Pines has forever changed my life for the better and I couldn't be more thankful!

Life changing, the team at Healing Pines is amazing, and the brotherhood that was formed when meeting the other brothers there was so awesome, those are friends for life, so thankful for all the teachings I got and all the groups, honestly changed my life for the better and I wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for everything that happed at Healing Pines, if you ever are looking for mental health or addiction treatment this is as good as it’s going to get, give paul a call and he will make sure he gets a plan for you!! Specialized in sports medicine and recovery. Felt more like an athletic club than a hospital. The staff are all fitness-minded and understand an athlete's urgency to heal. Treatment plans are innovative, blending traditional medicine with alternative therapies. Highly recommended for active individuals.
