We used High Focus in Farmington when our child was going through a tough time. It really helped them to get back on track and through what they were struggling with. As a parent it’s quite hard to watch your child struggle with any sort of anxiety, depression or whatever it may be that’s bothering them. High Focus teaches them step by step by engaging them in both individual and group therapy, how to build solid coping skills and manage day to day life, even when it’s hard. They also guide the parents on how to support your child through tough times and advocate for them. They are well qualified and thorough in their treatment plans. They have a way with kids/teens of getting them to feel comfortable enough to engage and to open up. Over time they all began to all feel almost like family. They truly care for each individual they are treating. We can’t thank them enough! Highly recommend.

Don’t go here if you aren’t perfect. I reached out on my own for PHP due to MENTAL HEALTH issues and never in my life have I had substance abuse issues. With that said, due to the work I was putting in, a lot of trauma surfaced and I had a couple mishaps involving substances such as alcohol, but again never have had a substance abuse issue and I’ve remained sober for better health for quite some time. I was honest with them about it because I did not want to make the same mistakes as overall I was doing pretty well mentally and making a lot of breakthrough. Well, they decided to state that I’d need RESIDENTIAL treatment over these couple mistakes. I was not a danger to myself nor others, they would not even hear me out. I felt cornered as I had 3 people in a room telling me I need to agree to residential or I’ll be discharged from their program. Again, this was over two incidences involving substances. Might I add, LEGAL SUBSTANCES. I left that day infuriated and upset and reached out to a couple professional therapists about the incident. They both agreed this was highly inappropriate and defeats the purpose of a PHP. They even asked for the program name so that they would not recommend it to others. I went there for help, I owned up to any mistakes I made throughout my healing journey, and I was met with this kind of treatment. Thankfully I am working with a great therapist now who agrees that I do NOT need residential, not even close. I am excited to continue this healing journey and I do NOT recommend this “treatment” center.

I highly recommend High Focus for anyone seeking quality mental health care. Their PHP/IOP programs for both adults and adolescents provide comprehensive, tailored treatment that genuinely helps clients make progress. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and supportive. As a professional in the field, I’ve worked closely with Jaime Pietrosimone, who has made the referral process seamless. I look forward to continued collaboration with the High Focus team!

This program saved my life. I can’t explain how much I loved it. Despite I went through so much towards the end in my personal life, I was really nervous for a split second that I would go right back to what I used to be but almost 5 months later I feel like a million dollars!! I still use my binder to go back and utilize the coping skills 🤣 I truly felt like a human here 🩷 100/10!

Let me start off by saying that my adolescent child and I have been through the ringer. Upon being referred to High Focus our skepticism in finding a program that helped, was at an all time high. From the first contact, the team was knowledgeable, cooperative, attentive and most importantly PATIENT and responsive. We had the pleasure of being assigned to Taylor S. Words cannot express my gratitude for this human being. She is so kind, responsive, consistent & communicative. Any parent experiencing the difficulties of maneuvering through the mental health arena, knows how frustrating and lonely that road can be. Finding a person and a place that provides a warm embrace both figuratively and literally, can be exactly the dose one needs to catch your breath and regain strength to continue to help your child. The mandatory Parent & Caregiver Group led by Lenny is a godsend. It's a judgement free zone, where you not only get professional support, you give and receive peer support from other parents in similar paths as you. The level of empathy and peace of having this space was life changing for me and my child. I apologize for the long winded review. I'll close by saying, being at High Focus provided a space where my child and I were both being supported and that mixture of care for him and I, has been tremendous.
