UPDATE: After over 5 years, LifeStance is STILL harassing me with statements, calls and text messages for a visit in early 2021 where a.) they refused to provide service and b.) my visit was completely covered by my 2 medical insurance plans. Despite my repeated calls, texts and letters providing the details to their local office as well as their main billing office, they are still threatening collection. These people are beyond INCOMPETENT and Jennifer Simonds’ conduct reflects poorly on her professional standing, exhibiting incompetence, unprofessionalism, and inadequacy.
Twice I have had appointments with Lifestance.
Ms. Jennifer requested a character reference from my physician, which I provided. However, she never got back to me either way with a decision, explanation or referral. I called several times and left messages with the receptionist and vm but I received no response.
Ms. Pamela was very kind, understanding and professional. She explained the protocol for prescribing the medication required and promised to get back with me with references of someone who could help me. I never heard back.
She also stated that the receptionist should have never made the appointment due to their medication protocol and in consideration of my first appointment.
Over a year later I was billed $455 for these appointments that were in fact covered by both of my insurances. This includes threats of collection. After years of phone calls, it’s still not straightened out. Lifestance staff is either highly incompetent or is engaging in predatory billing practices.
