Memphis Recovery Center helps change lives. The adult services long term in patient program is excellent. It is all recovery based with emphasis on the 12 steps and 12 step fellowships. I have seen miracles happen at MRC. The counselors are excellent with special emphasis on Ms. Tamia. If anyone looking for recovery and a better life could work with Tamia, it would be a blessing indeed. The program is structured and requires hard, honest work from the patients, I have seen first hand that this is exactly what most people struggling with substance abuse issues, needs. I highly recommend MRC to anyone struggling with addiction and seeking to change their lives for the better.

I don’t have any idea

I had been to 5 other treatment facilities before I came to Memphis Recovery Center, so I have experience with different types of rehabs. MRC is different! The curriculum is different, the atmosphere is different, and the activities are different. Although going through treatment is difficult anywhere, I had an amazing experience at MRC. I highly recommend MRC to anyone serious about changing their life. You can start here. It changed my life. I am now 7 (consecutive) months sober, for the first time since I was 14. I am 47. I thank God for Memphis Recovery Center.

This place saved my lives i say that plural because they helped me in my physical addiction,mentally they helped me find out why I picked up in the first place my past experiences that I had to get over and accept to move on in my life and also spiritually..I was the first patient to be baptized at this facility and it my connection with my higher power could never be greater....the staff worked very close with me in identifying my triggers and possible relapse scenarios.. t hey helped me build a recovery network and to start the routine of going to meetings and familiar faces in those rooms..overall I give this facility and its staff a five star review because without them I would not have a life today..even the warden

I have been fortunate enough to be able to know MRC on a professional as well as a personal level. As a social worker, there were many clients that needed emergent , in patient rehab for a drug addiction. When I called MRC they were beyond helpful. In one case, MRC was unable to help this specific client i had but they referred this client to another facility that could help them. Everyone I have met there has the heart of a servant! Personally, I have been lucky to have worked with some women that went through MRC's inpatient rehab, and they are still sober! There is a huge camaraderie among the alumni that continues well after graduation. MRC is a special place!

Memphis Recovery Center saved my life. This place is truly a God send. I had a long, hard road in addiction… treatment center after treatment center… and since I was a juvenile, I spent most of my life either behind bars or in treatment centers. Every place I went, I felt like just another inmate or patient. Nobody ever sat down with me, asked how I was really doing, or tried to understand me.I first came to MRC when I was 17. I wasn’t ready then to stay clean for good, but I’ll tell you this — getting high and drunk was never the same after I left. I still remember walking in… those first couple nights I felt something I had never felt before: safe. I felt like I was okay for the first time in years. Even though I didn’t know the staff yet, there was this warm welcome. They showed me love and made me feel accepted something I had never truly felt since getting caught up in the street life.Their compassion gained my trust, and eventually I started to open up and do some real work. I graduated… but I relapsed, and at 22 years old I ended up back at MRC. Even though I slipped, something from that first time stuck with me. Throughout my relapse, I couldn’t stop thinking about how I felt when I was there — how peaceful I was, how hopeful I was. My wishes, my ambition, the part of me that wanted to live again… it all came back. Spiritually I felt lighter, and I craved that feeling again. I knew I couldn’t do it alone. Going back to MRC was the best decision I’ve ever made. This program is designed for success when it comes to addiction and alcoholism. They don’t just treat the symptoms — they help you get to the root of the problem, and that’s what makes them different from any other treatment center out there. Every single person who works at MRC has a heart of gold and a true passion for this work.I’m alive today because of Memphis Recovery Center.

This place is amazing! They introduced me to the recovery life, showed me there was a different way to live and it saved my life and the entire staff rocks!

My daughter struggled with addiction for 30+ years. After many attempt to get and stay clean & sober w brief treatment in & out patient, MRC’s intense in patient treatment was what she needed to work thru so much of what had her stuck in such the vicious cycle of addiction. She celebrates over 2yrs clean & sober, using the skills she gained to live a successful life.free of drugs & alcohol, paying forward and helping other addicts to achieve the same.
