My experience here has been overwhelmingly negative. Communication is practically nonexistent, and the therapist assigned to me is frequently unavailable due to medical leave, leaving my needs unsupported. The feeding schedule is inconsistent, meals are often served frozen, and concerns I raised were repeatedly ignored. I felt completely alone throughout the process, and instead of receiving help, things became significantly worse. At this point, I’ve lost trust in the program and can’t recommend this place to anyone seeking reliable support. I will say that Eric, Jason, and Mack were the only staff members who consistently acted with professionalism and care. Unfortunately, their efforts couldn’t make up for the broader issues within the facility. I genuinely hope the organization addresses these problems for future clients.

I just want to give a amazing review. New directions was the right choice for my teenager. They made a difference. They taught him so much in 60 days. Even if things don't go right I know they gave him the foundation of sobriety. So I would recommend to anyone who has a teenager struggling. The first and only place I felt my peace when my kid was there. He has the tools now it's his choice. Thanks new directions

I never had an issue with the treatment team or therapists. The teachers need to be replaced tbh. They treat the clients with disrespect and are kept unchecked about it. Other than that my stay was great. Thank you for helping me start my journey in recovery EDIT!!!!!!! Thank you ND for helping me establish my foundation in recovery! February will be 5 years sober and I couldn’t be more grateful for having been in your program as a teen! I’ve graduated HS(‘21) and now have a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children! This wouldn’t have been possible if I was not sent to your program. Thank you!

Was a resident back in 2022 my therapist was rinn ramcke, did 120 days in two different stays, if your not used to being around recovery culture it can be hard, you can’t choose what kids come in but about half of them are heavy in streets. This is one of the better rehabs, you can go outside, go to meetings, and they can keep you busy but it’s also a ton of sitting around. I kept in contact with about 10 other kids throughout and I think 2 stayed sober.. maybe.. I learned nothing prepared you for how different life feels after this place.. in all the dark evil bs places like this can have, I look back at new directions as one of the more safe havens, any kid who tries fighting an other kid will immediately be discharged, I saw this happen twice. At the end of the day the staff are what dictates the mood and overall atmosphere, but I heard it doesint pay much so with what staff we had “40” “mac” “Rachel” “Amanda” “Oliver” “Frankie” “Eric” “Silvia” the teachers, and other faces like Susan and Robin were really inspirational to me and I still miss them in a way. I’m 19 and still struggle but I’m alive and trying.

I got out back in March, but this place made me lose my will to live. Just the rules and 1 of the clients, I felt like the song “First Day Out” by Tee Grizley when I got out. and you can only talk to ur therapist once a week, idk what else to say bc i have sm to say!

I was at this place over 15 years ago back in ‘09. And I would recommend this place to any teen or young adult suffering from addiction. This place helped me in so many ways not just with my addiction but also mentally and spiritually. Chuckie was the best counselor there at the time she kept it real even when you didn’t want to hear it and she did not play she took her job very seriously. Thank you New Directions for helping me all those years ago😊
