Levels of Care
Our admissions team will work with you to explore the right payment options based on your needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
The highest level of care, medically managed with 24-hour nursing and physician care in a residential or medically-based setting, and can include any combination of medication, counseling and therapy.
Licensed primary mental health facilities provide specialized care for diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. By offering early intervention and comprehensive services, they promote overall well-being and prevent long-term complications.
Substance use disorders often occur alongside primary mental health conditions. Programs for co-occurring substance use disorders focus on both conditions, tailoring treatment for comprehensive recovery.
Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

While I was very impressed with the empathy and skill set of Nick and Michelle, unfortunately their supervisor Adrianna did not have the same abilities that belong in mental health, especially leadership. When an incident occurred between me and an out of line patient, Adrianna did not handle the situation appropriately. Instead of seeing the client's perspective and working to calm me down and resolve the situation between me and the other client, she went on the defense for the program instead which made me even more uncomfortable. She micromanaged her counselor Nick when I wanted to speak with him directly and over controlled that situation as well. When she called me instead of allowing Nick to do so she only cared about passing me off to IOPs in a curt and impersonal email giving me a dual diagnoses and very far away referrals which weren't relevant. (Tho did give me a couple other local possibilities over the phone) When the counselors provide general mental health only pertained info instead of the strict DBT model, they excel. I look forward to returning to Highland Spring for IOP because they practice a general model and I was very impressed with groups when I was on inpatient a year ago. I have faith the counselors and intake will continue to improve and do a great job here, But I would honestly move on to better leadership than Adrianna if I was her supervisor.
What time does the office open
From intake to leaving I was incredibly impressed. Every single staff member was warm, kind and helpful, even those serving food and doing housekeeping. I was impressed with the food and drink selection. Barb's groups were the best. The huge windows in the common area are a very nice touch. I enjoyed my room - when you consider the necessary safety measures in place, I think you'd rate it five stars. I will never forget my experience here as nurses and doctors helped me navigate PPD.
Inpatient, there needs to be more groups and activities to fill in idol time. I found that I had anxiety more when we were just sitting around. Great nurses. And Barb is the best. The food is horrendous. For hospital food you would think it would be healthier and of better quality. Outpatient, I wouldn't change a thing. Great program and counselors. Especially Elizabeth. Also, when going to the ER for mental health issues, the area where they hold us is not good. Left alone for 4 hours, except when medical staff visited. Gave me worse anxiety. Thank God they let someone to come in and sit with me after a period of time. Thank you
Negatives: OK the rooms weren't exactly up to Ritz standards and the food was hospital grade. There were one or two staff members that seemed less than happy to be there and even a little short with the patients. No place is going to get a five star rating. You are going to find faults no matter where you go. I was in inpatient between January 9th and 14th for anxiety and depression as well as "SI". This was my first time in a facility, so I was extremely apprehensive. I had seen the horror stories about mismanaged mental hospitals and was on high alert going in. It ended as soon as I was carted in. The staff was, for the most part, very helpful and caring. They did regular vital checks, bed checks, 4 counseling classes a day (optional), had regular 1on 1 check ins with psychiatrists and therapists, etc... This place was an overall game changer. I went in at the end of my rope. I had hit the wall in every way. This place and the people in it helped me process my feelings, got me on necessary medication, and helped me find outside mental health assistance for my continued recovery. To the staff and my peers. Thank you for your kindness and compassion in helping me climb out of the darkness.
They are experienced professionals with a heart for people! I spent a few months in IOP and they were dedicated to my mental health issues as well! I would highly recommend them, Tell them Kenny sent you
I was nervous, more than nervous actually, to be admitted here, but after being reassured by the staff that it was unlike a place I’d experienced years ago, I found it to be probably one of the best places I’ve ever been to. If I ever need mental health care in the future I will not hesitate to go back. The very best place I’ve ever been for mental health treatment and care. Thank you to all who helped me.
My son was an inpatient. This is the first time in twenty years that all of his issues were acknowledged and advocated for. He is now in long term treatment and has been sober for the first time in his adulthood. I am grateful for the firm expectations combined with compassionate care.
