Oasis Recovery Center

So, I'll try to keep this as short as possible, but it's an absolute mess in they treated my son. And, now they're dragging their feet on refunding the $10k i paid for them to help my son even though he was only at the Knoxville Recovery Center (more on that later) for maybe 4 hours. This horrible nightmare began when i contacted the Ashville Recovery Center looking for a rehab for my son. They referred me to Oasis for a detox before they (Asheville) would accept my son. Oh, and see my review on Asheville Recovery. Anyhow, Oasis decided that the Knoxville Recovery Center was better suited for my son's issues. So, i flew my son to Knoxville to begin the detox process. Well, he was only there for about 4 hours before he just walked out of the facility. I will not give the details on what happened after that, but the Knoxville place called EMS to take him to the local Hospital psych ward for the next 6 days. When he was released from the hospital, Knoxville decided they weren't going to take him back. So, i had to find another facility (which has worked out great!) Here it is 5 business days since requesting a full refund of the $10k i paid upfront to Oasis for the Knoxville facility that wouldn't take my son back. So, if you're as confused as i am as to all the facilities mentioned, so am i. And, you can only imagine how all this makes someone with a mental health issue feel. Oasis, Knoxville and Asheville should all be ashamed of themselves for how poorly they treated my son. Tossing him around like a bag of garbage with no regard to his mental well being. The whole reason he was going there in the 1st place.

The support I received from Oasis Recovery Center didn’t end when I left. The aftercare and continued encouragement have been so important in maintaining my sobriety and sticking to my goals. I can't say enough about how accomodating and kind the staff was too! Highly recommend Oasis Recovery Center if you're in Asheville or anywhere close by.

There's something special about this place! I don't know where to begin, the staff is great and the housing is awesome. I spent a month here and I highly recommend this facility! Oh and shout out to all the techs!

I enrolled my son in this program March 2025.I had know insurance so I put it all on a credit card to pay.My son went through the first month an completed that program an started a new program which he completed the second month.He moved into the sober living house in which I pre-paid 1800.00 per month for a total completed program of 1 full year.2nd month into the sober living program the Supervisor over the house started to relapse an started doing drugs at the house.They found him laying on floor messed up several times. My son started spending nights with his girlfriend so not to be around this.The Oasis program took that guy out an brought a new one in.The new Supervisor of the house called my son an told him to come get his things cause he needed to leave because he hadn't ask permission from the guy who relapse to stay away overnight. I called the office an requested a partial refund.They said, send a Email request to HR,which I did.I got a response back from Arron Smith.He stated you signed a contract, you don't get a refund.My contract signed was for 8000.00.I paid an additional 20,000 more.For a total of around 28,000.Per the contract, the center also failed on the contract by not having proper supervision of the sober living home.I sent numerous emails to Arron Smith an he has failed to respond. My last email to him was 2 weeks ago.All I was asking for was just a partial refund,small percentage of the price that I paid.Arron Smith showed me that all he cared about was the money which I am still paying a card for.HR is supposed to be for patients.I also have text messages from both the old Supervisor an the new supervisor stating all of this.BTW,My son is still sober.I have not recieved any response from anyone from the oasis recovery program to solve this matter,no phone calls, nothing.Just, Arron Smith response of "you don't get no refund." FYI,I'm not done yet. Ps,please don't respond with "Im sorry", an all the other bearaucacy statements that I see you responding to.Pick up the phone an call.I will be happy to work this out an edit my review..
