I was homeless for a time after experiencing spinal stenosis, family loss and financial problems 2 years before. I went for opioid dependency. The staff were harsh and apathetic at best. One day because of the excruciating pain from my spine and anxiety about my life seemingly collapsing, I had a severe anxiety attack in class. A big, tough-looking staff member came and told me to follow him. He acted as if the cops had come and I was on some wanted list. He said nothing as he briskly led me down an endless hall to another and finally to a posh looking office. There, I was confronted with a woman who let me have it. "I'll pay for an Uber for you anywhere in town. You are not welcome here." They all knew I had no one, nowhere to go, no money and could barely walk. She told me they could not financially deal with "people like [me] here." Meaning I was affecting their bottom line and image. Garbage. My counselor there couldn't be bothered to help me find a place to go on to the next phase. I ended up back home in Austin and I am now in a great, permanent house. I had a bad experience there. I would never go back.

Had a great experience at the PaRC. Ms. Mary and Mr. David are absolutely awesome. They truly care about you along with the counselors here. I had the pleasure of having Alicia Williams as mine. She was great. I spent 30 days here and I’m super glad I chose this place over the other rehabs in the area. I came addicted to cocaine and alcohol and left clean, sober with plenty of tools to take on the world. The Behavior Techs are great and they do their best to keep a great environment around the facility. I would highly recommend. 10/10.

Absolutely terrible service!! Please do not come here/bring your loved ones here unless you plan on being drugged and scammed! My sister decided to admit herself into rehab here near the end of November, 2025 for addiction. At first, everything was going well , however, after having been vomiting for almost 12 days (the doctor’s told her it was normal due to the loss of drugs) we decided to take her to the emergency room and have her checked out, because my family and I knew that it wasn’t normal!! We found out that not only had she been throwing up because of withdrawal, but also because of the COPIOUS amounts of medication that the parc staff had given her without her true knowledge of what they were for. We also learned that the patients are allowed trips weekly to the gas station/vape shop near by. So ridiculous giving active patients in rehab access to a vape store that sells products with nicotine!!! Once we found everything out, we decided to pull my sister out of Parc rehab and instead move her somewhere safer and far closer to home. All in all, Parc rehab drugs their patients and doesn’t do anything to truly help them with their addictions. Not only that, but when we decided to move my sister they promised to refund our down payment as well as cancelling her monthly payment. However, no matter how many times we have called they still refuse to refund and they just took out ANOTHER monthly payment even though my sister no longer goes there!! Absolutely disgusting behavior and service and I’m currently in the process of looking for the name of the company’s ceo. If things aren’t resolved soon then my family and I will not refrain from possibly suing as this is unjustifiable and a breach of our contract.

This place only keeps people sedated and drugged. My daughter was there for four days, and it was killing her. We took her out, and she spent four days hospitalized with a weakened heart due to one of the drugs used to keep her sedated. Not content with what they did to her, they continue to charge $305 a month, and they still haven't returned the deposit. Be very careful. They only care about the money, not the patients' health.

Staff was very unprofessional on the adolescent unit. Almost never nurse there this is not a recovery center it’s a prison. Didn’t let me contact my daughter for hours didn’t give her medicine or food for hours and lost some of her stuff and said well there’s nothing we can do.Disgusting I wish I could sue but this place is corrupt.

This place is so unprofessional and it should not stay in business due to their lack of care to patients, not caring about their health at all, only what is convenient to them, do not recommend this place at all, please find some other place that will treat you so much better than them.

To whom it may concern, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent experience at Parc Rehabilitation Center. I was originally admitted with an extremely high heart rate and elevated blood pressure, and despite this serious condition, I was given medications by the nursing staff that I was never informed about and that resulted in me being sent to the ER for two days. The medications administered to me felt random and unnecessary, and they caused additional complications rather than helping my recovery. After being stabilized in the ER, I was fully ready and expecting to be re-admitted to continue my treatment. In fact, I felt the best I had felt during my entire stay. However, despite the issues being caused by the facility itself, I was suddenly denied re-admission. This has been extremely frustrating and disheartening, especially considering I am actively seeking recovery and doing everything in my power to stay on the right path. The level of unprofessionalism I experienced at Parc Rehabilitation Center has left me deeply disappointed. Being given sleeping pills and other medications without explanation, then being denied re-entry after those same medications affected my blood pressure, is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this facility to anyone seeking help with drug addiction recovery. I hope this complaint is taken seriously, as no patient should have to go through what I did. I am asking for accountability, transparency, and a review of the practices that led to this situation.
