I’m incredibly grateful for my experience with Positive Recovery Center Montrose. Over six months, I was consistently met with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care — I always felt seen, supported, and protected during a critical season of my life. Chris, Gabe, and AJ were exceptional counselors who held space and grace for us every step of the way. Their experience, knowledge, and understanding of recovery are truly worth their weight in gold. The positive psychology approach helped me rebuild my identity after addiction, focusing on strengths, purpose, and who I’m becoming — not just sobriety. I’m also deeply thankful to Appolonia and Colby in sober living for their steady support and dedication to our success. Recovery is a life-or-death errand, and I truly appreciate PRC taking care of me when I needed it most. I highly recommend PRC Montrose to anyone seeking thoughtful, empowering, and professional recovery care.

Please do not send your love one here!! I’ve had the most horrible experience. They are super nice to get your money then once your love one check in, they rarely answer the phone or contact you back. It’s ran like a prison and not a rehab. I wish I would have read the negative reviews before sending him here. Also he checked out after 5 days while I was on vacation and they gave him 2 months worth of medication to leave with that made him come home hallucinating. Why would you put 120 pills in a addict possession? I feel like they wanted him to do something to his self! I looked up one of the medications and it treats schizophrenia and bipolar which he does not have!!! I am highly upset and I hope this place gets shut down!!

God sent. This place has really changed our family life. All for the better. The location is perfect and the treatmeant is forward thinking. If you have a loved one struggling with addiction and you want a place where they can provide continued care, I highly recommend this place. Thank you Positive Recovery for being there when it felt like the odds were stacked against us.

10 out of 10 care! I learned so much and absolutely loved it here… Cassandra is the best counselor I’ve ever come across. She actually listens and cares, and the relationships I built with my IOP group, was exactly what I needed at the time!!! We were always hanging out together, doing sober things, and making life fun! Id recommend PRC to anyone I love, and see struggling. Best advice: do not be afraid to be vulnerable, and share, the best healing comes from that transparency!

I had the opportunity to Complete my practicum hours at Positive Recovery, Montrose location, as a drug and alcohol counseling student. I highly recommend their services. I was amazed at the progress the clients made in their recovery, and the Drug and alcohol counselors I worked with, Gabe and Cassandra, are highly professional and certainly a credit to their field. The Positive recovery facility and programs offered were impressive to observe. I would recommend to anyone seeking Drug and alcohol counseling to definitely consider the Positive Recovery group.
