Before Restoration House Ministries, I was a man consumed by addiction and self-destruction. My entire world revolved around getting high and chasing money — and I didn’t care who I hurt to get it. I was the kind of person who would smile in your face and stab you in the back the moment an opportunity presented itself. I had a son who needed his father, and I couldn’t have cared less, because I didn’t even have the capacity to care for myself. I was completely lost — and I didn’t even know it. Restoration House Ministries took me in when I had nothing to offer. For a full year, they fed me, clothed me, housed me, and surrounded me with clinical counseling, intensive outpatient groups, and a community built on biblical truth and genuine love. They didn’t just treat my addiction — they introduced me to Jesus Christ and gave me a reason to become someone worth knowing. Today I show up. I take responsibility. I am present in my children’s lives and rebuilding relationships I once burned to the ground. God didn’t just save me — He restored everything I thought was gone forever. Now I have the privilege of working at Restoration House Ministries, continuing to grow in Christ while pouring into the men going through the program — pouring my whole heart into giving them what this place gave me when I was lost. Wonderful place,for recovery very god filled loving staff and amazing people who want the best for you!! This 12 year program will lead you to christ, and help you get the tools to have a successful sober life, also you leave with a relationship with JESUS AND GOD!!

Restoration House is a tremendous ministry for those struggling with addictions. While the program is quite demanding, the residents are privileged to be cared for in a loving environment built on biblical values with decided accountability. Having the opportunity to witness numerous individuals graduate is a testimony to God’s transforming power in lives formerly bound in addiction. Praise God for a ministry like this!

To be fair: There is gorgeous surrounding scenery, Christian faith-based praise & worship, engaging clinical groups, clean modern facility. However, these things are overshadowed by the fact that they require residents to go on long-distanced fund-raising trips for 30-50 hours of work per 3-4 day weekend- which can be a poorly planned, very triggering experience that can cause those in recovery to lose focus. I have heard residents liken this program to the military in its inflexibility. There are ways to make a program doable/enjoyable (even fundraising) without it having to be an awful experience and being detrimental to recovery. Rest time and alone time is also limited. No thanks.

Really caring staff good focus on God needs more room.

Extremely disappointed in this facility. My son was accepted did a phone intake. We thought God had answered our prayers because he needs a dual diagnosis treatment. We drove 5 hrs there dropped him off feeling hopeful. They called me the next morning and told me that I had to come get him because of his level of care exceed their capabilities. Are you serious? Of course they offer to drive him to me when I couldn't come right away. My son then had a serious nervous breakdown due to our hopeless situation he arrived in a terrible condition. I had to take him straight to the ER for crisis intervention. We are devastated 💔 😭 we need help but realize there is no help none cares. The system is broken. Dear God in Heaven I'm begging you please please please help us 😭💔🙏🏻

Great place to get sober and ponder

Not sure what “Jesus” or “god” they teach here. I asked if I could take a picture of the mountains from their parking lot and the “pastor” became angry and said no. Zero love, zero kindness.
