Great program. The staff really cares about everyone's well being. I just celebrated one year clean.

Update, I was offered to try their new Mental Health program on site. While attending the showers only produced very cold water for bathing. Everyone seemed to be coming down with illnesses and I didn't feel comfortable at all so I requested my exit. Because of the substandard physically, I have been banned from Sanford's IOP program. This program has been very successful for me but again. Sanford has banned me from participating. I'm not allowed to even talk to Sanford therapist anymore. All because I didn't feel comfortable at their physically that they themselves recommended to me. This is highly unfair practices. A venerable man kicked back at the curb because of an uncomfortable physicality. I'm not upset. Just disappointed. Jeff Hull

I made an appointment and saw them in July. Since then, it's been one thing after another. They state on their site that pre-approval can take up to a week. By October I had called and left messages, sent emails, talked to several people at my own insurance company, and the medication program had been calling me for over a month assuming I had started treatment. 'Sara' who I was to go through stopped returning calls or emails. Only ever saying 'how weird that your insurance and the company all say you are set to go, I'm still waiting on a fax!'. Both the insurance and the medication do not USE faxes, they have online portals. The only time I did hear back was to make sure I paid a bill. So I have now wasted MONTHS trying to work with these people, and unless you are owing them money, they aren't talking. They don't help, they make it worse with their gross incompetence.

I'm not sure where I'd be without this amazing team! The behavioral health services I received were truly life-changing. The compassionate and professional staff helped me navigate some of the toughest challenges I've faced, and I'm forever grateful. Their expertise, empathy, and support gave me the tools I needed to take control of my mental health and rebuild my life. Honestly, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the hope they gave me when I felt like I had none. They believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself, and that makes all the difference. Sandford has been instrumental partner in the community and offering safe and high touch addiction and mental health services. a welcome approach that always put the patient outcome first instead of profit. They have been a great leader in this space and a nice alternative to the limited choices in our market. I can safely say, their values, culture, and intentions are a very high standard.

I spent over 3 weeks trying to get a list of therapists from Sanford along with basic program information for their IOP with no success. :( I normally only leave positive reviews, so this is hard for me to write… I just hope Sanford sees this and is inspired to create a brochure or put more information online for potential patients in need. I would be happy to amend my review in that case. :)

I recently reached out to Rae Green seeking advice and guidance regarding a close family member who has an alcohol addiction. Rae was supportive and generous with her time. She was very knowledgeable and educated me on how addiction effects the brain. Her passion in helping people recover from addiction was evident. It’s difficult to get a loved one to admit to their alcohol dependance and even harder to seek help, but when they do, I will not hesitate in contacting Sandford Behavioral Health services.
