This place not only lived up to its name but it helped me see that I still had purpose the staff was not staff they where and always will be family. They understand and help people who want to give help and fill them with the drive to want to live again thank you so much second chances

I just want to sincerely thank Second Chances for being such an important part of my journey. The structure, support, comfort, and confidentiality they provide make recovery feel possible and safe. Intensive outpatient has given me guidance, accountability, and real tools to grow. If you’re in need of recovery, I truly encourage you to go. There is strength in asking for help, and this is a place that genuinely cares. A special thank you to Miss April for her kindness and compassion, and to Miss Tanya for her dedication and the amazing work she does. I’m so grateful for everything. ❤️💯

I went and did the inpatient 28-day program from April 5th to May 3rd. I had a wonderful experience and enjoyed my time of stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful for the things I needed there. The cabins were nice and cozy. You got to cook your own food. You got to chill and relax outside when you wanted and smoke a cig (only behind your cabin) whenever not in group, meetings, class or events. They had a gym as well as a community room. There were fun activities and amenities available for client use such as basketball, volleyball, cornhole, wiffle ball, disc golf, crochet, board games, card games, art supplies, color sheets, books, ping pong, foosball, etc. The counselors we're very knowledgeable, encouraging, open, warming, caring, and loving to their clients. My counselor was very amazing at helping me with my problems and issues of my traumatic and dramatic past. The mission of second chances addiction recovery center is to provide hope, healing, and restoration to individuals and families struggling with addictions. They believe the treatment of the whole person is necessary for lasting recovery. This includes the physical, mental, spiritual, and relational well-being not only for their guest, but their family members as well.
