Still Mind Florida

My daughter is bipolar and schizophrenic and has been in and out of facilities since she was 18, she's now 19. Of all the facilities she's been in, Still Minds has been the most caring facility. They've been absolutely wonderful about keeping in contact with me, supporting her throughout all the ups and downs, and helping her to succeed. They didn't just discharge her when she felt she was ready, they made sure she was ready to go to the next step down. Even now, they call and check up on her and make sure she's flourishing. Her counselor, Amy, was absolutely amazing and my daughter was able to open up to her more than any other counselors. I 100% would recommend a loved one who is struggling with mental health issues to go to Still Minds.

This program saved my son. He struggled with mental health problems since his teenage years. Every place we sent him to, couldn’t or wouldn’t help. He arrived to still mind with active paranoia and psychosis. They were able to be patient with him and encouraged medication management. At first, he refused. After speaking to his clinician and the Psychiatrist, he finally agreed and was able to get stable. He stayed with them for over two months and he was a different kid. We decided to have him continue treatment at a PHP and is now thriving! The team is amazing and so supportive. I was involved every step of he way and it was a pleasure speaking to them as they kept me in the loop. If you have a loved one who is struggling, I highly recommend this program. Truly grateful

So many aspects of our interaction with the Amen Clinic in Hollywood Beach made our visit an outstanding experience (both my spouse and I got tested). THE ENTIRE STAFF was kind, cordial, competent, sensitive, supportive, great listeners, eager to help, and very personable... Impressive! Stephanie B., our initial contact with the clinic, expertly guided us through our options. She made the necessary accommodations for my spouse and I to be able to do all the necessary in-person appointments during our stay in Hollywood Beach. Miguel, my Patient Outcome Manager, was phenomenal with pre-appointment communication, support, and guidance. He also created a very safe and supportive environment during the History intake. Mo, the Scan Technologist, made this part of the process so easy and comfortable. It is difficult to imagine a better Scan Technologist. Lili, my Patient Care Coordinator, was superb; she made me feel so at ease and welcome from the very first encounter. As for Dr. Ballestas, what can I say ... awesome! I totally appreciate his generosity, sensitivity, kindness, support, patience, and detailed explanations. He expertly established a connection with me, which created a very safe and pleasant environment. Barbara and Jessica, Front Office Staff, made us feel so welcome. They really set the tone for an overall pleasant, outstanding experience. Lucia, who did not work with me but whom I encountered on several occasions, made me feel seen. Her sweetness felt like a healing balm. I briefly interacted with Alejandra, Sarah and other staff and office members whose names I cannot recall right now. They all treated me the same way my support team did; they were kind, cordial, supportive, eager to help, and very personable. To the entire staff: Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I honestly miss y'all... you were for sure the best part of our mini-vacation! - Rafa
