The Fullbrook Center Fredericksburg

This place absolutely traumatized me. Ruined my life in fact. Don’t come here if you don’t want your psychosis and trauma used against you. They called my art satanic and play favorites. Letting some girls sit out of group and not others. Also allowing some girls to use their phones and not others. You tell them that you aren’t feeling good and they don’t validate your feelings instead they will look you up and down and tell you to pray about it. 10/10 DONT. RECOMMEND.

Loved my time at Fullbrook. I’m beyond blessed that I was able to have a chance to understand and process my addiction and trauma through this program. Amazing staff that can relate and be so personable and open about their experiences makes it so raw, real and relatable. I made some of my best friends and unbreakable connections there. I absolutely would not be here today or be the person I am today if it were not for Fullbrook. Shout out Ellie, Abba, and Jess. So grateful for y'all and my experience there.

Fullbrook center was life changing for me. I didn't realize at the time what a difference it would make in my life. But since my return home in January, I have 4 months of sobriety under my belt and no desire to ever drink again. Every relationship in my life has changed for the better! I went there with so much past trauma and they facilitated that in such a meaningful way! My sincere hope for anyone considering going here, pick the place that changed my life!

I went through the program at Fullbrook in Jan 2026 and writing this with 105 days of sobriety. When I arrived at Fullbrook I was hungover, full of shame and hopeless. At 43 my life had become totally unmanageable. As a therapist myself it was very difficult to set aside my ego and need to control and admit that I needed help. I could not stop drinking on my own. The program was difficult. There were days I wanted to leave but I’m so glad I stuck it out. I was initially not open to 12 step work or the trauma work they provided but at some point while I was there I decided I had tried pretty much everything else under the sun and fully immersed myself in the program. The RA’s who I worked with were always compassionate and understanding. I’m truly thankful for them. I’m continuing with 12 step journey. I found a sponsor and started working the steps. I know I have to keep making my recovery my priority in order to keep my sobriety but I’m forever grateful for my experience at Fullbrook and the gift it gave me.

Amazing place with amazing staff!!!

The fullbrook center completely changed my life for the better. I needed intensive trauma work and the 12 steps desperately in my life and I’m so grateful for this place. I don’t think anyone comes in here on a winning streak, I sure didn’t, but the staff truly cares about the women that come in here and they loved on me before I could love myself again. The facilities are so CLEAN and comfortable. Food is great and prepared daily. There’s a pool, cold plunge, gym, pickleball court and plenty of space outside in a beautiful setting to enjoy. The breath work, therapy sessions, and step work, although intense were vital for me. I not only have my life back but an even better one than I could have ever imagined and I have a whole new attitude and outlook on life. I have fullbrook to thank for being the catalyst. If you have the opportunity or the privilege of coming here, do it.

The staff are incredible—so loving, attentive, and genuinely invested in every person who walks through their doors. You can feel that you matter there, and that kind of support makes all the difference. For the first time in a long time, I have hope and a new way of living. Absolutely love the mission of this recovery center!! I have had the pleasure of getting to know some of the staff and what impressed me most.. is their understanding of addiction and the experience it takes to help addicts and also their families. They love these women and the professionalism is definitely worth noting!!
