Twin lakes is the best place I've been for recovery their people are knowledgeable and kind they have your best interest in mind and teach you why your addiction is so strong and why so hard to overcome it's a beautiful place with beautiful people I wouldn't go anywhere else if I ever had to go back but praise God I'm on the right path now thanks to twin lakes

Twin lakes has great staff and resources for recovery.

My recovery from alcoholism began with a fantastic 30 days at Twin Lakes in 2023. I learned so much in those early days of recovery that have enabled me to continue living successfully in sobriety 2-1/2 years later. Added to those 30 days was also another 3 months of evenings with the Twin Lakes IOP program in Gainesville. All of these wonderful experiences were possible due to the fantastic staff and counselors helping me in this journey! And I cannot stress enough the importance of the continued outreach and commitment of the aftercare ‘alumni’ program! Twin Lakes is there for continued success in recovery long after the immediate inpatient care!

Great place to start a new beginning at life! If you’re serious about recovery and ready to make the step in the right direction to fixing your life I highly recommend Twin Lakes. A lot of the staff are in recovery which is a huge plus in being able to relate to most if not all of what someone is currently going through. If you’re ready to change your life go ahead call them. You won’t regret it!

No pink cloud review from this guy. Just hit 781 days sober but the rehab industry is like the car industry. Staff always moving to greener pastures. I am still sober even though I was tried to be strong armed into staying although I paid cash for as many days as I could afford. 28 years as an drunk/addict and was at rock bottom so it was kinda get in where I could. I completed my treatment at another facility (may have done a review) and on to intensive outpatient program for 9 weeks thereafter. This is one of those facilities that seems to cater to the frequent flyer. Great property though. With a few adjustments and taking care of the good staff, would be an absolute perfect place for a rehab. But gimme a shout if you want me to come talk to group next time I’m in GA.

I really hope this place has changed. I was there a couple of years ago and my experience was horrible. We were barely getting fed enough to get us by. I had saved up some of my snacks and ramen noodles for the days when they gave us stuff I wouldn’t eat, and they did a room check and took all of the stuff I saved up. They said I stole it. Which makes no sense since they kept it locked up. We also only had tap water, milk, and Walmart brand cool aid to drink. People literally had to fight over the leftover food because everyone was starving. Paying that much for rehabilitation and having to worry about being hungry is insane. We also had to serve the food and clean the facility ourselves. Some of the techs had only been clean for 8+ months themselves and were allowed to host meetings. The biggest problems were honestly the lack of professionalism and the lack of food supplied to patients. People in rehabilitation facilities should never have to fight over food because they’re hungry.

Twin lakes was a wonderful experience I enjoyed my time their. The staff was Amazing client friendly still clean to this day. If your looking for a rehab that cares this is the one.

I arrived at Twin Lakes December 12th, sad that I had to be there during the holidays. I knew I needed to be there, because I was so lost and had just given up on life. The staff and techs were extremely helpful and kind. The food is catered in by Matt and he would do his best to provide special requests, like sriracha just for me…thanks Matt! The classes were very educational, along with the AA meetings brought in from outside groups and Athena’s Alumni meetings is another great addition that you can continue after you leave treatment via zoom. I meet with Evi, the clinical director for ART session for my past trauma, which was amazing….Evi is so sweet and wonderfully talented. She really took the one on one time with me to go over my life story. Tony and Miles made Christmas special by coming as Santa and Mrs Clause bearing gifts for all the patients and a day packed full of games, prizes and karaoke. That was so thoughtful! I was thinking I was going to be sad during the holidays….not at Twin Lakes!! I didn’t make it for the New Year’s countdown but I did get some delicious snacks and a mojito mock tail brought in by Evi. I highly recommend this place for your recovery!
