Wellspring Arch Bridge School

I do not even have words to describe Wellspring. The staff there do not care about the kids at all. From what I have experienced when I contacted Wellspring for the first time, the admissions lady, Nancy, appeared pleasant and described the facility as a nurturing environment with a "New England charm". This was very misleading. After about a week of my daughter being there, she called me complaining that the staff thrived off punishing the residents with something called "restorative work". After consulting with the treatment team at Wellspring, I learned what this system was and thought it was punitive, but decided to trust the milieu counselors and therapists. I should have never trusted them. My daughter will never forgive me for sending her there, Wellspring has ruined our relationship. Not to mention the family therapy was solely focused on my daughter and sort of blaming her. I know I have made mistakes as a mother, but the therapy was not focused on me taking accountability for my actions, it was blaming my kid, and that was the treatment team who was directing the therapy's doing. As a parent, I was looking for a safe and therapeutic environment for my child to be cared for. Instead of nurturing her, she has left Wellspring with a traumatic mindset regarding treatment and residential facilities. Please think twice before sending your child here. Wellspring is truly horrible.

This place is NOT for the best interest of the children. How sad is it people go here for help! If anything they contribute to the pain not healing. I hope this place gets SHUT DOWN!!!! How dare places mess with children's pschye when they are supposed to help!!!

This is literally the most not therapeutic residential to ever exist. The staff could not care less about the kids and will loveeee punishing them for trying to be normal teens. The only way you will succeed is by pretending to be someone your not; a goody two shoes who is forced to tell on their friends. Wellspring will teach your kids exactly how a teen should act if they want everyone to hate them and lose their friends, if this is what you, as a parent, are looking for in a residential, Wellspring will be a fantastic fit!! Places like this need to recognize red flags, my little sister was being held here at 18 against her will. for months she has tried to get into contact with numerous family members to come get her so she can sign herself out. This place isn’t letting her family get her out because when they hear word that she’s getting someone to pick her up they reach out to her emotionally abusive “parents” then all communication is cut and she is unable to reach us for help. she is an adult, and can make her own decisions. it is clear that she has been emotionally and mentally manipulated and abused, and this place doesn’t care!!! she is being held like a prisoner, and NOT getting the help she needs. This is disgusting, and any therapist they have on site is a joke. They do not care about the people here or their well being. My little sister should NOT be held prisoner, she has been emotionally abused for years and all this place did was enable it further!!!! she’s 18 if she wants to be signed out she is a legal adult and should be able to sign herself out. IT’S HER CHOICE!!!! This place should report signs of abuse NOT enable it, this is supposed to be a HELPFUL place and clearly, it is not. seek help elsewhere do NOT go here.

The place is very unprofessional and not worth anyones’s time or money. Only thing they care about is your money. They ignore signs of abuse and ignore obvious calls for help. Stay away.

This place is an absolute nightmare that doesn’t care about their patients. A girl here was admitted by her abusive parents and instead of seeing the patterns of abuse, they called her abusers when she reached out to other family members for help after she had turned 18. Do not support these people who say they are here to help the youth mentally when they’ve done nothing but minimize what her abusers have done to her and convince her that they are good people when they are NOT.

It is very unfortunate that people go here to get help and it’s quit the opposite. This place should be shut down!! Mental health, trauma and abuse are a very serious issues and this place is absolutely NOT qualified to help! Take it from the ones who experience these dark things and reach out for help and do not get that help!

Twenty years ago, this may have been a place of healing, but now... this place sounds like something out of a horror story. My niece has been kept there, against her will since she turned 18 in June. She has reached out to several family members asking for help. She has asked several family members (on both sides) for help getting her out of there, but once the staff finds out, they cut all communication off from her mother, aunt, sister, and grandparents. Her biological father is a sick man, keeping her from maternal, as well as paternal family members and this school is helping him.
