This is a great place to go for therapy if you don't actually need therapy, and therefore it doesn't matter if the care you receive is totally substandard. I remember the first time I tried their "Grief Group," one of the group members said she was in therapy to deal with the loss of her *job.* No, I'm not kidding. People like this, who don't have any real problems or mental health issues, and therefore don't actually need therapy, might do OK with this place. But if you are dealing with anything heavy, and especially if you require medication, Wholeview is beyond useless: they are actively dangerous. They are entirely incompetent to help with psychiatric issues, much less complex, "dual diagnosis" issues. Your therapist will constantly cancel appointments, and you will get a new therapist approximately every 6 to 9 months. There is no continuity of care. You just get passed around to different therapists. You will get real sick and tired of explaining your entire life story to a new therapist every 6 to 9 months. If you need medication, you will not be treated by a psychiatrist. You will be treated by an angry, impatient, apathetic nurse, who knows nothing about medications but will lie to you and refuse to help because he can't be bothered doing any actual work for his patients. They mismanaged my medications so badly that I ended up hospitalized. Afterwards, they dropped me as their patient without my consent, leaving me with no mental healthcare at all. I begged to be taken back as a patient. In return, I got a form letter saying that I had been officially discharged as their patient. I'm sorry, but these people are evil. It takes a real special kind of evil to refuse to adequately manage somebody's medications, and then dump them as your patient when you realize how badly you screwed up. Again, if your worst problem in life is that you got laid off, this place is probably fine. But if you actually have any real mental health issues, if you are dealing with things like ongoing familial abuse that you cannot escape, clinical depression, PTSD, et cetera, this place is dangerous. I would make a formal complaint to the the state licensing board if I thought it would do any good.

The care at Wholeview is second to none. I've been to several service providers like Wholview in NYC, and Wholeview is hands down the best. The clinicians are caring and compassionate. Drs. Ashley Hall, Hima Reddy and Isiah Sypher are all amazing and address each individual based on their unique needs. I have never felt like just "another patient" at Wholeview. For me, groups at Wholeview are the best experiences I've ever had. Also - the administration of the organization is effective, and efficient - billing is always accurate. My invoices are sent on time so that I can file with my insurance company right away. I can't recommend Wholeview enough.
