Anaheim Lighthouse

I really love the Lighthouse. The staff are so caring; most are in recovery themselves, and you can tell how much they want you to succeed. The program is pretty strongly focused on 12-Step recovery, but the groups also focus a lot on cognitive behavioral techniques. And they have an active alumni program that helps keep folks connected after they leave. Also, the food (at least when I was there in 2022) was really good, the entire facility is air-conditioned, and there are never more than about 30 guys at a time. And finally, they put up with me, and I was a total mess when I went in! The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is that there was a lot of disorganization and cases of the right hand not knowing what the left hand was doing. But since leaving, I've made a lot of friends who work in treatment, and it seems like this is par for the course in the treatment industry. Overall, if you're out of ideas and need a solution, this is a great place to find one - to develop a recovery program, find tools, and make new friends who will support you on your journey.

The lighthouse saved my life and I am forever grateful for this program. Me and my fiance came here together but did the program separately and I am so happy we came here. I definitely recommend this program. And the food is amazing.

Thank god for the Lighthouse!! This place is amazing, I went there and they took me to Alcoholics Anonymous, which gave me a solution to allow me to become an active and productive member of my family and society. I did everything that was suggested like going to sober living getting a sponsor and working steps. They have an amazing Alumni program with Heidi as the coordinator. The alumni program helped me tremendously I learned accountability by taking commitments at meetings, learned how to have fun sober, and use normal coping skills instead of using or drinking. I am super grateful for this place the staff really cares and anyone that’s willing to put in the work to recover will find the help they need at the lighthouse!

This place is absolute worst rehab to go to I got there and they did the intake which was fine and then they put me in a house full of guys and next to nobody that was detoxing from what I was detoxing from everybody was talking from alcohol I was the only one they told me they would give me meds but 4 hours later no meds so I decided I wanted to leave because first of all I was going to drive my own car down here and they told me not to that they would get me a ride down here I live 2 hours away so they got me the ride down there and then they wouldn't get me back home and they literally kicked me out on the street because they said they were having meeting and nobody was going to be in the house they literally kicked me on the curb to wait for my ride my phone i has 2% battery and they don't give a crap this place is horrible they didn't explain to me anything the whole time just the worst

An amazing place with staff who truly understands recovery. The program gives hope to the hopeless, strength to the weak and a fresh start to all!

This is the best rehab I have been to. The staff and people there were so wonderful and did their very best to help me through my drug addictions. They did their best to get you out of your shell and to feel like you're apart of a loving, easy-going family. I've been to many rehabs, and it's safe to say that this rehab was the main reason I got clean. The staff really cared for you and made you feel loved and included. The attendees made the experience so awesome, I couldn't have asked for more. The rooms were very nice and relaxing. The food was awesome, as well. They accommodate for any allergies and they still make it taste good, which is almost impossible when you're going through withdrawals. The classes were fun and laid back, which allowed me to not have to speak if I didn't want to. They challenged me to get better with the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, which I feel was the most important part of the recovery. Anaheim Lighthouse allowed me to really look deeply into my life and see what I was doing wrong and what I should strive to be. I'm extremely thankful for Anaheim Lighthouse. Without it, I wouldn't know what to do.

My wife went in for a 30 day detox. The drugs they used messed her up so badly that she fell 2x and was taken to the er twice. She was hallucinating thinking they had killed me and was going to kill her. At 7 days they told me I had to pick her up because they couldn't watch her 24/7. In their records they stated it was a successful detox and they said she was stable. Lies! They gave me no directions on how to treat her. She could barely walk and it took 3 days before she had any normalcy back. A 1 star rating is 3 too many! They shorted us 22 days w no refund.
