Wonderful place, with caring people. My daughter spent some time there and found it very helpful. She felt safe and understood. Staff were very knowledgeable and supportive.

Arise changed my life. If you're considering going, please go. I was unsure and super anxious and overwhelmed about going, but my time here was the absolute best thing I ever did for myself. I am leaving this place a new me, more confident and self-aware and with a full toolbox to manage my mental health. The staff are so kind and caring and made me feel right at home! Arise Hillside’s Residential Mental Health Treatment Program rescued my life from disaster. I entered treatment significantly depressed and distressed suffering from high anxiety, low self-esteem, persistent negative self-talk, and OCD symptoms as well as experiencing intermittent passive suicidal ideation and the aftermath of a significant internet and technology addiction relapse. I was in the lowest place of my life. Day by day and week by week, through the safe and supportive environment, group therapy, psychoeducation, individual therapy, psychiatry, family therapy, somatic therapy, peer support, supervised outings, and more, the clinicians and staff of Arise Hillside directed me toward the best version of myself and gave me the knowledge, skills, and support I needed to grow closer to it. As my residential treatment concluded, Arise Hillside connected me with an incredible outpatient mental health treatment center for my step down to Partial Hospitalization Programming (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) where I have continued to experience incredible personal growth. My experience with Arise Hillside has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

I am so happy I was able to find help with Arise hillside treatment center. I was able to get my son in right away for the help he needed. The staff and doctors on board are very helpful. The time my son did spend there was very good for him he learned to deal and open up about his problems and concerns. I would really truly recommend this place for those who are looking for a place to go for their families or themselves.

I am acutely aware that this review brings light to my very personal struggle with unresolved trauma and mental health. Still, I feel an obligation to the one person who has reached the end of their rope and is exhausted, scared, and feels utterly hopeless and alone. I want them to know I have been there, there is hope, they are not alone, and to please pick up the phone and call Arise. I vividly remember my first conversation with Joelle. I had reached my breaking point and was trapped in a darkness that had slowly and methodically taken over all that I was. Lost, hopeless, and actively disconnecting from those who loved me, I didn’t know how much longer I could (or would) hold on. I had begun to believe that the trauma that shaped my life would eventually take my life - that I was beyond help, and that I was “choosing” to be what I had become: worthless and weak. The compassion Joelle extended was sincere. She HEARD me. She handed me a beautiful sliver of hope - the first in more years than I can remember. Syuzanna and her team (Joelle, Alissa, Maria, Laura (Thing #1), Gabbie, Roxy (ROX-ann.....a!!), David, and Heidi - I MISS YOU GUYS!!!!) changed my life. They lifted and believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. They filled my “tool chest” with new strategies, coping skills, and a proper understanding of emotions. I learned more about myself during my 45 days of treatment than in the previous 44 years of my life. My life contains a “before Arise” and an “after Arise”, and I am so grateful. My world is different now, better, and it contains all the feelings I have attempted to numb for so long in a manageable way. I’m no longer scared to be seen or heard by others. I’ve been given a second chance at this beautiful life.

Going to Arise Hillside Treatment Center was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my mental health. Before Arise, I didn’t fully realize how much I was struggling. What I thought were manageable issues had already started affecting me emotionally, psychologically, and even physically. From the moment I arrived, Syuzanna and her team created a space where I felt seen, supported, and genuinely cared for. Their mission is clear: they truly want their clients to heal, grow, and regain control of their lives, not just get through a program. What really stands out to me is how individualized and supportive the care was. Looking back now, I didn’t even realize a year had passed since my time at Arise. I remember celebrating Christmas, New Year, and almost my birthday during that period of my life, and I have no regrets at all. During my stay, I was also in graduate school finishing my master’s degree. I brought my iMac with me, and Syuzanna allowed me to study during vocational time so I could stay on track academically. That alone speaks volumes about how supportive she is, not just to me, but to every client. Since completing the program, three major things have happened in my life: I graduated with my master’s degree, I was able to return to work, and I’ve achieved several meaningful professional accomplishments that once felt out of reach. None of that would have happened without the stability, insight, and tools I gained at Arise. I’m deeply grateful to Syuzanna and the entire Arise team for their compassion, professionalism, and genuine commitment to their clients. I was never treated like a number. I was treated like a whole person. If you’re struggling with your mental health and looking for a place that truly cares and supports real growth, I highly recommend Arise Hillside Treatment Center.

All of the staff were not only knowledgeable but extremely fun to hangout with while helping us identify and pursuing our dreams! They are absolutely the best in every facet of life!
