Aegis Treatment Centers - Fresno

I have been to this facility through at minimum 7 years, so the workers I have seen come and go are everyone except a single counselor. I used to recommend this clinic. The old management was quite understanding and worked with you, or at the very least were fair and did not use retaliatory methods to hurt their patients. Unfortunately, the management is trying to fill the counselor positions so badly that they have fostered a workplace of vindictive, lying counselors that seem to hate their patients, of course this does not mean all counselors. They do have some counselors that are actually trying and care about the patients. The problem seems to come down to a feeling of management despising the patients. I would just say think about what the point of working at a treatment center is, and if the reason you are there isn't to help the patient, then leave us alone and get your paycheck somewhere else. And no, I do not want to call and talk about it to get ignored again and just shoved along so you feel like you fixed the issue by shutting someone else up.

I had a great experience with the nurse practioner although I cant remember her name, she was incredibly empathetic, kind, and gentle throughout my visit. She took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel truly cared for and understood. It’s rare to find someone so patient and compassionate in healthcare. I came in there with withdrawals, I was a total mess thinking I was going to be judged, but that all went a way from the moment that I met her. Ill be praying for you!

Place is an absolute dumpster fire. I’ve felt more compassion from my ex’s current man. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend.

I'm addicted to Methadone AND fentanyl, but I can't stop fentanyl bcuz the clinic policy only enables me to go up 10 mgs every 3 days. Though, itll require an immediate increase of 40 or more mgs in order to cover my methadone needs AND cover my fentanyl withdrawals if I cut off fentanyl cold turkey. I DESPERATELY want to get off fentanyl, (& ALL opiates, and ALL DRUGS, or any other unnatural, &/or unhealthy chemical... IMMEDIATELY, but I can't do it bcuz I can't handle the fentanyl withdrawals WITHOUT going up 40mgs or so. I tried going up 10mgs every 3 days, but all that did is continued my physical addiction to fentanyl, BUT, it also just slowly made me addicted to more methadone.

Horrible staff they treat the patients like we are less than them because we are receiving addicts. The main manager Brian is the worst about this. If I knew of another place to dose I would go there. The medicine dispensers are also terrible!

The best clinic and Dr. Laser is very compassionate.
