To say disappointed is an understatement being an individual who had to suffer through negligent and abusive care. The amenities listed are not true, and it’s definitely disappointing when you show up to a one star facility who pretends to be a 5. You are not cared for around the clock by doctors, all the work is done by medical assistants who are not licensed that are in their teens and early 20’s caring for and controlling people with much more age and experience. There are no therapists, there is no drive to actually help people and they do not have state licensed counselors, only counselors who are certificate recipients. There are no professionals who are qualified to handle many of the veterans who are in residential, especially those who have copious amounts of either physical or mental trauma, or those who have endured both. They’ll force you against your will, they prescribe and move around medications nonstop and claim you aren’t stable, and over drug other patients to the point they are zombies with no desire for life. The fact they have not been sued is beyond me. Medical negligence, medical malpractice, fraud, kidnapping, harassment, emotional and mental abuse and falsifying information are a few examples of what patients are being subjected to. The theft is high. You may think your belongings are safe but they are not as their staff sift through patients belongings and take whatever they want without being held accountable, but they have the staff trained to attempt to mind trick you into thinking you forgot or that it was never delivered or there. Although theft has happened they do not even offer to reimburse you the funds nor do they appropriately punish the staff who committed the theft. The food is either take out or deep fried which makes up a vast majority of what you eat so people that have dietary restrictions aren’t kept in mind when it comes to meals. The “classes” are mediocre to the point a second grader can teach it. They have horrible cleanliness, to the point it’s absolutely disgusting and they make patients live in a unclean environment such as that without a care in the world. They specifically target veterans over any other potential clients due to the higher rate of pay per day from the va, they easily make 45k if not more per veteran every 30 days. You’d think they would invest into better quality care, to include nutrition and legitimate, professional health care associates. This rehab is not one that I would recommend anyone too, especially veterans. They are definitely driven by dollar signs versus actually promoting quality healthcare and rehabilitation into clients. A person should not need rehab for being at a terrible rehab. If you truly care or love someone, you will not even ponder putting them into here. This place needs to be closed down completely before they lead to someone’s death.
